Pal's Sudden Service — Restaurant in Johnson City

This morning i called to place an order for 15 sandwiches . when I got to the cashier I told her I had a to go order that I called in . " we havent had anyone call in" (everyone in the background shaking thier heads saying we dont have a pick up order , you never called )so i picked my phone up and hit redial and guess what , thier phone was ringing . I was then confronted by LISA who refused to give me her name . she came out to hand me my order and while doing so started to talk to me about where i work and threatened to call my place of work simply because I wasnt happy about the way I was treated by her employees . she continued to tell me,about how if i would have called in an order , she would have known . not sure what she has in her head thinking I would make up the fact that I placed an order . but for her to even bring up anything about where I work , i take as a personal attack as a way to make herself feel better about her poor service . I asked her what it had to do with where I work and,how she knew where I worked when we have never met , so I mentioned that she must have been rumoring around before she came out with my order , which she then denied . last thing she told me was " you know what , i have 2000 other...

I recently moved here from across the country. We do not have pals where I’m from. This place was the very first food establishment recommended to me. I was actually told to try it the first day I was here moved into town. I have it a try and I was immediately impressed. I went up to the first window without knowing what was on the menu or how to order. I felt RUSHED TO ORDER but I also don’t know the menu like all the locals. That however is my only complaint. The food was delicious and they were VERY QUICK.

UPDATE: 08/12/18 I visited this same pals. It was later and I was the only car there at the time. I ordered and felt rushed to order again. And I also still don’t know the menu because of this reason. However, the food was again very good. I was waiting for maybe 1 whole minute as the only car and the gentleman apologized to me...

Are u even from East TN if u don't love Pal's ?!?! (lol) The one here in Gray is awesome !!!! the staff are great- they're all super nice, friendly, n helpful !!!! And they work hard to get ur food made, bagged n out to u in a flash 😉 my order is always correct, hot n fresh n delicious 😋 lol. I wouldn't recommend goin during lunch unless u have a few minutes to wait bc of course it's lunchtime n it seems everyone and their mama decided to go n ull be waitin a few minutes n the traffic is badly lined out to the road n even ppl not goin there are stuck in it, definitely need to do some remodeling w their parking lot, but other than that everything is awesome !!!!
