Delicious food at a reasonable price! Menu items range from burgers to steaks, with the price range running between $8-$12. My hubby and I ordered two house specialties: the fried liver and onions and the 9 oz. hamburger steak with onions. Both come smothered in a brown gravy.

Each came with a salad and choice of a side. The Ranch Dressing was homemade. Portion sizes were large, and we were both full when we left. I didn't think to take pictures until partway done, but the bowl with the veggie choice is sized more like a cereal-sized bowl, and was filled full. My broccoli was actually cooked just right... not overcooked, not undercooked.

Tulips is a pub, so there is a bar area. The walls were lined with TVs tuned to football. There was one side room that had a pool table and we noticed a dart board near the front door. The young woman who served us was attentive and friendly. Tables are spread out some for social distancing and there are outdoor dining options for those who prefer to do so. Tulips has one of the best lunch specials around. My last visit with my wife, I had the catfish lunch special. Two perfectly cornmeal breaded filets cooked to perfection. I had the fries and coleslaw. Heaping portion of fries, excellent coleslaw. As usual a pint of cold beer. My wife had the Buffalo chicken wrap. She didn't say much for the first few minutes as she demolished the first half of her wrap. She was happily munching down on the other half when she finally grabbed a couple of fries. I took it from her silence and steady tearing into the wrap she was a happy camper. Service was good, as usual, even at the end of lunch hour. Aside from the daily special, they have a full compliment of traditional tavern fare. They also make mixed drinks. It was nice enough that the outdoor seating had quite a few lively customers. I want to start with I hate booze and am a former drunk going on 11 years dry, I did call and order up some take out for my Wife and I for our (date) today and I must say this is by far the BEST burger I've had in a long time, for $11 I got a 12oz burger loaded with fries and it was amazing, so much I couldn't even finish it but my kids sure did. Likewise my Wifey was really happy with her chicken philly she got and we both went on and on about how good it was the rest of the day. I really appreciate the food and that this place wasn't stingy as most places want to skimp on sides, thanks for the good value. I will def get more food from here.
