Food was disgusting found a hair in my chicken Parm and instead of apologizing and being polite the waitress was very very disrespectful never will I ever eat at Pat’s restaurant again One of my worst experiences Out to eat surprised at there actions because the first time I went the waiter was nice and respectful but the food was still terrible So I gave it one more try and ordered the chicken Parm and was disappointed once again and after finding the hair and getting disrespected by the waitress mind you i only took one bite I was still charged full price if you don’t know good Italian food then this is the place for you looking at some of these reviews I can tell a lot of you have never eaten at a real Italian restaurant It’s disrespectful to Italians to call this good Italian food or good food at all at that point when I talk to one of my friends that used to work there washing the dishes he said it’s because all their food is frozen and heat it up in the microwave it is also illegal to have cooked meet and raw meet in the same fridge half the time even the pasta is cooked days before then put in the fridge and heated up in a microwave as ordered A real Italian restaurant would at least cook the pasta to order nice and fresh mind you only takes a minute 30 seconds to cook pasta just proves my point that this is this furthest thing from good Italian food and is just a complete disrespectful to Italians everywhere if you want a good Italian food come over my Nonna on Sunday lol I would rather eat at a Burger King than ever go to pats again way over priced for frozen food if you claim to be an Italian restaurant you should at least make your own sauce not from the jar once again doesn’t take much to make a nice fresh sauce everything about this restaurant in my opinion is the furthest thing from a good Italian restaurant don’t waste your money on frozen pasta take an extra 10 minutes out the way and drive over to Federal Hill if you still decide to go there I pray for you your stomach and your toilet in...
Read morePat's used to be great, so we chose it again tonight for our anniversary dinner. Turned out to be a bad call. Service was very, very slow. Long wait just to get water after we were seated. Our server didn't seem very happy to be there. Appetizers came relatively promptly. The fig and prosciutto flatbread was absolutely fabulous, as were the stuffies. Salads were...uninspiring. Couple of olives, couple of underripe grape tomatoes, iceberg lettuce, plastic cup of dressing. We then waited almost a full hour before our entrees arrived. No one checked on us or refilled our drinks in the interim. The AC was dripping water onto the floor right next to us. Other diners arrived after we did, ate and left while we waited. Finally, the entrees arrived after the place was locked up for the night. The busboy was packing up tables. The hostess was washing the windows. No apology from the waitress for the delay. Veal parmesan was tender and delicious, just like we remembered it. Then came the chicken saltimbocca, which was absolutely terrible. The chicken had a weird, stringy texture and odd flavor, like it had been boiled. The prosciutto, mozzarella and mushrooms on top collectively had no flavor at all. The "mushroom marsala wine sauce" seemed to have no acquaintance with either mushrooms or marsala; it was weak and only vaguely chicken-y. Overall, the dish was woefully underseasoned, pale, bland and unappealing. We explained to the server. She took it back to the kitchen and it was taken off the bill. By that time, our anniversary dinner was a bust and we were the last party left in the place. We boxed up the veal and left without...
Read moreWe've been to Pat's many times and it has always been consistent. There were eight of us this night. We had the Arancini for an appetizer. It had absolutely had no flavor, no spices or herbs. I had veal parmesan for my entree, which was good. My husband had Fra Diavolo. His dish was not even a full plate. It was served in a half size oval dish. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. On top of that, it had no heat at all. Fra Diavolo should be spicey. There were no red pepper flakes in the dish, nor were there any on the table to add to your plate. The seafood in his dish was minimal. While I was eating salad, the bus boy asked me if I was done because he seemed to be in a rush to take my plate. I still had a half a bowl of salad in front of me at that point. The waitress started off being courteous, but during the meal, she never once came over to ask if we needed anything else, or to ask if everything was OK. The only reason she returned to the table, is because we flagged her down for more drinks. The bread was ehh; it wasn't super fresh. It feels like Pat's gave up; we won't be back. If I want fresh Italian food, I'll have it at home. My husband's cooking blows Pat's out...
