3 finger combo about $12…I love chicken, especially fried chicken. So I was excited to finally check this place out. My visit was a Weekday right when they opened there was only 1 car ahead of me. Staff was very professional although it pains me to have to hear them have to say “have a cluckey day” etc. that type of corporate script nonsense. Super cringe, But they did great. Food was hot and fresh. I ordered just your basic 3 finger combo. I’m not a crinkle cut fry fan they remind me of school cafeterias. They were ok, maybe if you like to slather things in ketchup you’ll like them. You get a big griddled piece of bread, maybe a southern thing but I wasn’t a fan. I mean it’s just a big piece of bread lol I’d rather a biscuit any day. Chicken quality was great, very tender & crispy. But I will say I found them to be kinda bland & small. I don’t understand why they don’t have a special seasoning blend for their fries or chicken, their seasoning is just a tiny amount of salt. That’s it. Although the dipping sauce was tasty. Overall to me there wasn’t anything special about this food & at $12 for a small lunch it just wasn’t a great value to me honestly. For me it was a one and done visit unfortunately. I genuinely have no idea how these guys have so many franchise locations with so many better options out there. I guess people must love it. To me it was about 6.8/10...
Read moreMy sister and I decided to try Canes on Tuesday afternoon. The line was about 15-20 cars long but we decided to wait. We waited in line for about 40 minutes. For having a very simple menu it was a little extreme of a wait. We get up to the speaker to order and the man was very blunt. We ordered (2) Three piece combos. He didn’t even ask what we would like to drink. We ordered a sprite and a sweet tea. He asked for our name and we said “Gianna”. We get up to the window to pay and the woman working was very miserable. “NAOMI?” My sister said “Nope, it’s under Gianna” she responds with “did you even order??” As if we somehow got in line without ordering?. After a minute or so she goes “Oh it was under Tiana.” We pay and pull up to get the food and the woman was slightly more pleasant “Naomi?” And again my sister says “Nope, it’s under Gianna or maybe Tiana” and looked very perplexed. We told her what we ordered and she gave us our drinks. The sweet tea was good and the sprite taste off. We get out food in the bag with no napkins. The food was not good at all. The chicken has no flavor, the fries were soggy, the toast was blah and the sauce was horrible. I wasn’t expecting it to taste like ketchup with black pepper. I...

The food is average. The chicken has no real flavor. That's why you need the sauce. That pretty much makes the meal. The fries are boring high school lunch fries, and the bread isn't necessary. The coleslaw is decent in an average way. The ice tea is OK but also pretty standard. The building is clean and has lots of space, but the interior is a bit off. I don't think they really know what their theme is. Ranom pictures line the walls. From Elvis Presley to 1970s TV Wonder Woman. It's all a bit of a jumble. The price is 20$ for a 6 piece combo, which is just way too much. I would only recommend the basic fingers A la cart. The staff were nice and greet you when you enter. It's an ok place but not very impressive. It's an average spot to come once in a while. Kfc is better, and you don't need a sauce to eat it, but this place at least feels better to be in, so pick your battles. The manager did come out and ask how everything was which you don't get in most fast food places so at least the staff seem...
