Subway — Restaurant in Johnstown

Not very long ago, I stopped in at the downtown subway, a little bit later on a Sat afternoon, towards evening, as the sky was almost dark. Luckily I was walking TO this place, because there's hardly any parking spaces open around here. But my ride who was waiting to pick me up from* here had to circle the block at least twice, just to wait behind somebody else who was waiting to pull out of a parking space in front of the store.

I ordered one turkey sub and also a chicken sub for a friend. The tomatoes did not look good. My friend quickly gobbled down his chicken sub. I took one first bite and spit it back out. The cheese was more like globs of tasteless rubber and the circular mystery meat that was on this sub did Not* taste like Turkey.. to top it off, the sandwich was missing at least two ingredients that were advertised as supposed to be part of this sub, but were not on mine.

I liked the prepackaged low-fat chocolate milk from the cooler, and the chips were fresh.

The server was friendly enough, and she said she only had been working there for a few weeks.

I might* go back to this place someday, but...

I have a food allergy disorder called OAS where i cant eat raw fruits or vegetables. they need to be cooked in order for me to not have a reaction. Every single time i have ordered at this restaurant I have left a note for them to toast the veggies with the meat and cheese. They have never done it. Each time i was like “yeah fine whatever” and just popped it into the microwave for however long until it was steaming, but today was the final straw. I ordered a sub and put my note in the order and when i received my sub, not only were the vegetables uncooked, but there was no cheese or dressings on my sub. Im very disappointed as this restaurant is so convenient for me to get lunch from, but i cant see myself...

I usually have a really great experience at this location but my experience this time was horrible. The guy making my wrap was new but he did okay other than not knowing how to fold a wrap. The girl he was working with looked like she was tweaking or withdrawing from a narcotic. She kept scratching and couldn't be still. He asked her for help with the wrap and she didn't know how to do it either, then grabbed the sides of my wrap with her bare hands and rolled the paper up with the wrap so that the paper was inside the wrap. Good thing the wrap was free because I threw it right in the trash. Worst experience I ever had...
