Target — Local services in Shorewood

I normally LOVE Target and their employees are always sweet and helpful, this review is on buying PHONES (any electronics probably). My husband went to buy me a new phone as mine was old and needed a new camera/more storage. The salesman, AJ, went to transfer the information and told him that the phone needed to be updated and it would take an hour so just go home “and we’ll see what happens”. The phone updated in 20 mins but then refused to transfer. The old phone was backed up on iCloud but the new one refused to take the transfer no matter what we did. When calling back, AJ told us he didn’t have time to help us, he wouldn’t be back till Wednesday and we should call Apple support. Moral of the story, do not buy electronics from Target. There is not the knowledge or integrity of other stores. I’ve had wonderful experiences at BB and the Apple store, my mistake for thinking Target would match up. I have 2 small children and a business so I can’t wait till Wednesday for a phone that should have been set up today. Target is great for clothes, coffee and knick knacks, just not electronics and certainly not phones. Do not make my mistake. I used to LOVE this store, and I shopped there at least twice a week. I probably spent half our income there! But then something changed. They stopped carrying products I frequently buy, like Beech nut baby food. They were ALWAYS sold out of my baby's formula, every time I came to buy it. I even requested the manager restock it more often, and I was ignored. The aisles have these annoying teenage workers in then with giant carts. I think they are stocking shelves or pricing items or something. But they clog up the whole aisle, and gossip about their boyfriends loudly, and won't move so I can shop. I needed a baby registry printed last month, and their printer was broken. The woman working at the service desk told me she "didn't know what to do" and then ignored me until I walked away. They stopped selling lots of varieties of Lean Cusine that I buy. And don't even get me started on the pharmacy. They keep bankers hours, they NEVER check their voicemail, they frequently claim they never got the prescription called in from the doctor, and they CLOSE FOR LUNCH IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY! Who in this day and age just closes for lunch??? This store went from being my favorite to my most disliked. Get it together...

When you arrive early before they open and you realize that all the front (no handicap) parking is taken up by employees, you have no choice but to leave a review and hopes management does something about this. When I was an employee of JCP, employees were not allowed to park near the entrance at all. If that is the policy here, no one adheres to it and the management doesn’t enforce it because this is blatantly obvious that it’s only employees cars. No one is inside of them. And the one close park that is available is only half way available because the employee that parked in the park in front of it is reversed parked and taking up the park behind them as well. This is utterly ridiculous! They should at minimum be asked to beyond the first cart stalls.

Aside from that, this Target used to have excellent customer service at the registers but now the cashiers don’t seem...
