Anh Cakery & Boba Tea — Restaurant in Shorewood

I came to this establishment because of the excellent reviews. The lady the greeted me (she was white) wasn’t friendly whatsoever. I inquired about a menu and she just looked at me and said whatever was out was what they sell. I said I was referring to pricing.. she seemed annoyed that I was even there. I said I wanted the carrot cake and she said she didn’t have any. She mentioned that she was in the middle of baking as If I interrupted her. All I wanted was some cupcakes for my son’s birthday and she seemed to care less. Maybe it has to due with race not sure but definitely won’t be back.

I didn’t get to speak with you directly, but my perception of what happened is the lady was extremely rude to me. She appeared to care less whether I left or not. AMAZING. Simply amazing. If you're a shorewood local, going to Anh's Cakery & Cafe is a MUST. Honestly even if we needed to drive a few hours, it would still be well worth it. From the exceptional service to the delicious, high quality, fresh cupcakes/pastries- trust me you will not be disappointed.
