Dear Shorewood, Places like this are what’s wrong with America . Recently went hear for a interview. I talked with the owner on the phone . I stated I can’t work for less then a certain wage. I get to the interview we talk I hear all the demands that are requested. Then I get low balled . She goes oh I would only pay you this . I was insulted . But I found other employment . Later I get a text states I found someone else . In a text . So I responded I think you offered to low according to the ad. Only because she offer to pass my name along I stated I found something . Then a day later I was called unprofessional in a text for stating the wage was too low. So again I mention the conversation and the ad that stated a higher amount . Plus there are no benefits . I feel businesses like these should be avoided . That old school what can you do for me and not how can we work together . Fair wages , benefits ,...

SCAM ALERT! Cold stone creamery Shorewood IL. How can you name a product Butter Pecan ice cream but not have pecans in the ice cream. I ordered a pint of Butter Pecan ice cream and not one pecan was in the whole pint. Every time I have ordered this flavor or even bought it at the grocery store, they all have pecans in the ice cream but not here. I called and spoke with the woman that made my order and she said that, oh you have to ask for the pecans to be added and mixed in. WHAT, your kidding me right. As much as you charge for this ice cream it doesn't automatically come with all of the ingredients that's supposed to be in it. $13.00 for a pint of flavored ice cream without any pecans is absolutely absurd. This is blatant false advertising. What the F has happened to our world. It's like going to buy a new car and them not giving you the wheels and tires with the car. Share this review...

Placed and paid for an order for 2 ice cream pies. Went to pick up and they did not make 1 of the pies and the other was 1/2 made. Employees told me I could come back tomorrow (Thanksgiving) to get them. Had confirmed earlier in the day they would be ready and was assured they would be available at my scheduled pick up time, this was not the case. The cake decorater went home an hour before I was due to pick up pies and did not finish my order. After telling the employee there was no way I could return the next day for my order he said he would try to finish the order. Which ended up with me taking home a pie that’s been sitting in a cooler for at least 2 weeks the pies are only good for 3, per employee and the 1/2 finished pie was a sloppy frosted mess. Not recommending this location or let alone pre ordering from Cold...
