Very disappointed in my experience at this location. I specifically came inside for 2 items , a reed diffuser & a picture frame. I found a reed diffuser that I loved the scent of but unfortunately it was missing the sticks that stick out of the scent. As for the picture frame I found a very unique photo frame that was on a stand, it was the only one in the store and it was gold and had a few light scratches as well as it was leaning lobsidded and not completely straight. I tried to bend it so it sit straight with no luck. I even checked AMAZON for the same item in better condition but was not able to find one like it. I brought my items to the register because I know typically stores give 10% off for items with slight damage. The cashier I approached went to ask the manager about my items and said the picture frame I won’t get anything off because it’s “fine” but she will ask anyways. When she came back she said they will give me .99 scents off of the diffuser with the missing sticks but nothing off the frame. I explained to her again that it’s scratched and not sitting straight and asked to speak with the manager. She went back to ask her a second time and was like yeah the manager said the frame is fine she won’t take anything off. So I said forget it and went to speak with her myself. I asked her why I wasn’t able to get the 10% off the picture frame, when it is damaged and clearly sideways with scratches and it is the only one in the store. She then called ANOTHER manager over for a “second set of eyes” and as soon as she walked over and asked if it was lobsidded the manager immediately said yes and told her to take the 10% off without me even saying a word. I know these aren’t big discounts and I’m not looking to get things for free but I feel as though they were not accommodating me for DAMAGED ITEMS and taking advantage of me because I look young. Only come to this location if your looking for poor service and low...
Read moreThe store that is worth the drive from small towns for beautiful treasures. Always find something for a gift for a friend or a gift for myself. The way the staff sets up for the big kick off for Halloween and Christmas is super special and exciting. You walk in and right away your eyes get to see the beautiful displays that the staff takes the time to make sure we are drawn into . Aisle after aisle you want to see everything of the holiday that is on display. I am a huge Hello Kitty collector and I have a group of friends who are a collector as well. I do wish there was more there in the store of hello kitty. I enjoy the specialty treats as I pick up something for a neighbor who doesn't drive . She does not get to go out to HomeGoods as much as I do. The staff for the most part is wonderful. One lady was to focused on trying to get me to open a credit card. She was so focused on that she forgot to bag an item I paid for. Instead of being able to do a refund. I was told I had to drive back out to pick up the item or do a refund. Despite that I will continue to shop there and continue to be happy to...
Read moreHomeGoods is my favorite store! However, this location doesn't have as much furniture as the Salem, New Hampshire store.
I'm an interior designer and organize stylist. My clients are not rich. HomeGoods inventory coupled with my design astetic makes it appear they are!
I shop HomeGoods for major furniture pieces, accent pieces, etc., because the furniture is high quality, well made and unique.
I love that it is cash and carry and purchased an SUV for that very reason. Half of my inventory came from HomeGoods. Another perk; the furniture is already assembled.
Returns are never an issue, no matter what the reason. That's important because my design ideas are born in my head. Sometimes a piece doesn't fit the space, the vibe or the theme I'm going for and needs to be exchanged or returned. Simply put, I absolutely...
