Checkers — Restaurant in Jonesboro

TL;DR: Compared to the one on Caraway, this one seems the lesser choice.

We stopped in to grab lunch. Was on par with a typical fast food order for me (not a compliment). This location is drive thru only.

I ordered a double cheeseburger with ketchup only, I got a plain double cheeseburger. I ordered a Fry Lover's Cheeseburger and the fries on it tasted like they had been sitting out for the better part of an hour. We ordered Parmesan Cheese Fries, they also tasted old and were mushy.... The Mother Cruncher is one I'm not sure how to rate. It didn't look like the right piece of chicken, but might have been due to how it was cooked.

Some of the food was as expected. Our two orders of Funnel Cake Fries were decent. My daughter was under the impression that they were french fries costed in donut batter ( they are not). It's more like some was making funnel cake in strips and they are delicious. We also had cheese sticks that were on par with expectations.

The food here is really fresh. The quality ingredients they use is top tier. This was only my second time eating here, but it definitely confirmed how I felt the first time. I enjoyed every aspect of this place.

The food was prepared quickly, to our liking (without onion), was hot, mostly presentable ( tiny bit of ketchup came out the side) and the chicken sandwich was a breaded perfection of real non-separated meat.

The French fries definitely deserve an extra large option of it's own nomenclature, as they are just what I would expect out of seasoned fries. Crispy, tasteful, and not too oily or dry; just right.

If you haven't ever been to a checkers, I highly suggest going and getting one of their chicken sandwiches to start with, and branch out from there.

On this review is the big Buford, which is also really really good burger.

Ordered 2for $7 Fish Sandwichs using the Robot and mearly ask for plenty of Tarter Sauce on the Both of them...(Not Extra) however I was Charged for Extra...I ask about it and he said they put enough on them and wanted to Argue over some Tarter Sauce.. The guy Laughed in my Face when I showed him not one but both of my Fish Sandwichs and told me that what was there was enough.. I will not revisit that Location Ever.. and tell everyone i know and see what happend there..He even had the gall to tell me that it would be a minute or to before my food was ready...he took my food to tue back (That was already ready) and wiped some Tarter Sauce off from Both Sandwichs... I really like the Owners of this Location but there Employee needs some lessons and Training on how to Treat Customer's & Patrons and surely should know better not to think something is funny to them to which I did not find it not the least bit Ammusing
