My first experience visiting this place was an immediate 5 star. You can tell everyone enjoys working at their local family business. It's fun to see the work area like other kitchens. The selling point of this place are the extremely fair prices for the 5 star food taste quality. If you were to buy these items at a high end bakery shop in Washington, I'd expect to pay around 50% to 90% more depending on the items. The Nutter Butter sandwiches were a hit for all who tasted it. I liked the cherry cake and chocolate turnover. You can find great pastries at a lot of places throughout the USA, but this place has a real heart and soul. Read moreI, so far, have loved nearly every pastry I've had here. I love the Ooey Gooey cookies, chocolate and regular. The biscuits and gravy on Saturdays aren't bad, either. They have so many pastries to try, it's impossible to just go once and know what you want every time. I did have a Danish bun the latest time i was in there and i wasn't impressed. It looks more like a powdered cinnamon roll with lots of bread on the outside and a small amount of filling on the inside. I think it's their take on a Danish but I didn't like it. A Danish should have more cream cheese than a dollop in the center. I didn't take pictures but it was good, it's just not what a traditional danish should be. That won't stop me from going back to try more...
Read moreNot a very welcoming staff or atmosphere. Overall, extremely disappointing in the food and service. I would recommend going to any other place for pastries/breakfast.. The muffins were burnt, the cinnamon rolls are not soft but resemble cake texture (DRY), icing taste watery and like milk. Quality was not like I was expecting, especially for the attitude the staff had about it. No menu present, no staff member took time to explain anything, and couldn’t find a readily available menu online...
