Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Jonesboro

I recently called Pizza Inn to ask about picking up leftover buffet food after 9 PM not for myself, but to donate to students in need at university . I explained that I understood the food would otherwise be thrown away and thought it could go to good use helping hungry students instead. Because many church here do a free food and it is going a long way for students who are in rush or hungry! I saw the impact here which was huge.

The staff were polite and said I needed to speak with the manager. When I did, I was disappointed by his response. He told me that even after 9 PM, he would still charge me full price and that he would rather throw the food away than give it out for free even if it was going to those in need.

We ordered 1 sweet tea and 1 sweet tea with lemon. We had gone and got some pizza from the buffet and we were still waiting on our tea. We had to call her to the table to ask where our tea was. We got a unsweet tea and sweet tea. We ordered a Canadian bacon pizza for the buffet. We got pizza from buffet while we were waiting on the Canadian pizza to come out. We waited 30 minutes and asked the waitress where the Canadian pizza was. She went and checked. She came back and said it will be another 3 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes she finally came with a hawian Canadian pizza. We told her we are done because that wasn't what we asked for. So we left without getting what we went in there for. I would give Zero stars! Rude staff. My family took me to Pizza Inn on Caraway Rd on Mother's day[ my husband would only go to this one) but No More. Our waitress was rude, we ask for a supreme pizza( 4pcs, the only pizza my 74 yr old husband eats) the waitress told me " they ask us not to do special requests on Sundays" while we all saw the waitress and others take requests and pizza to other tables. My husband did not get to eat pizza, and as I went to talk to the manager I hear our rude waitress making comments to other waitress that she wasn't getting us a pizza among otger comments. Was these because my precious son N law is Black? This is the 2nd time this has happened. Ruined my Mother's day lunch. We will Never go back there. Come on Pizza...
