China Buffet — Restaurant in Jonesboro

It was sort of confusing because there was nobody at the entrance but there was a sign that said please wait for assistance. We waited but nobody showed up, it was after lunch and it was not too busy. Many of the tables were filled with dirty dishes. We were almost to where we decided to sit when the female server came to ask if we wanted a booth. We did. She started to clean it up and she removed most of the dishes. She took off with them and we waited. And waited. Then a young male appeared to ask if we wanted a drink. He came back with our ice teas. That was it, nobody came back for a long time. Finally we decided to go ahead and help ourselves. We got our food and went back to the booth. It had been wiped and there was mats and silverware. After a long while the young man cane back to refill our tea. The female server never came back. We had to ask another young lady from across the tables to please get our check. She came back in a few minutes and gave it to us. All in all I give it only two stars because the restaurant is not being run on a professional level and it is obvious they need...

So many things wrong with this place! It used to be a good place now it's a run-down dive. Staff is rude, the hostess seated us with a harsh "what do you want," then after bringing our drinks no one ever came to check on us. She and another worker sat at a nearby table and talked extremely loud and laughed louder over their phones. I realize they are young, but have some manners! There was one waitress waiting tables, wrapping silverware, making tea, everything while the others sat there talking and laughing. Our table was dirty, the salt shaker was empty with sauce all over it, and the sweetener packets were covered in soy sauce. And there was an obvious sewage smell coming from the bathrooms! When I checked out, the cashier wouldn't say hello back or respond in anyway, the young man that is often cashier does the same thing. Apparently I'm not the only one with this experience, a lot of other reviews mention rudeness also. About an hour after leaving, my friend and I got sick! Please save your money, and your health, and go...

We went at 6:30pm on a Monday evening. If you plan to visit, I do not recommend going at 6:30pm on a Monday evening. The food was not fresh and the walls are literally painted with black spray paint in areas. The floors and tables were not clean and everything felt sticky. There were crawfish on the buffet that tasted like cardboard with no spice at all. The shrimp had a bad aftertaste and the salmon was dark brown. When I asked about the veg lo mein which looked like spaghetti all they could say was "good noodles" and walked away. They had what seemed to be fried catfish but no tartar sauce, and something that resembled breaded shrimp but no cocktail sauce. The service was not bad because the service was non-existent. Not sure if refills cost extra because I never got a refill. When will Google allow 0 star ratings? 1 star is simply too good for this 0...
