Hong Kong — Restaurant in Jonesboro

I called and ordered a delivery like I have hundreds of times before. The young man who took my order seemed new and confused. We never place an order under $50 and tip very well. I know the owner Michael and have done business with him for many years. If I had his last name and phone number I would call him. We always order 4 orders of fried chicken wings every time just as I did tonight. They failed to write those down and I called and told them we didn’t get them speaking to the same young man who had taken the order. I made it clear I wanted nothing free ( our order this time was $72 without tip) but wanted them to be aware we didn’t get them. Shortly after I hung up my phone rang and it’s an Asian girl who works there who proceeded to be very hateful and actually called me s liar twice. This is the second time I’ve dealt with her and she’s been extremely rude and hateful. Hopefully she isn’t Michaels wife but she sure doesn’t need to be working with the public as I’ve never had someone I just paid $72 call me to call me a liar twice. I’m done with this restaurant I can live without dealing with that rude hateful...

The food here used to be good but since they've changed their line cooks it's not great. I used to know some of the cooks, many were from Central America. Now the cooks and front staff look to be from South/Central Asia region. The owner/manager seems to be the same, he was the one who would do the deliveries before they contracted out to Door dash, etc. I assume he's the owner, he's the only one who is still there and he seemed to be the one managing the show back in the day. The beef fried rice had cooked but unseasoned beef in it. They used to give you more strips of beef in the rice but now the beef is skimpy. The quality of the shrimp lo mein has declined, also. They used to put either large shrimp or many medium-sized shrimp in the dish and now they use miniature shrimp. I only had about 5 shrimp in my entire small order of shrimp lo mein and they were almost as big as a quarter. They mainly gave me lo mein noodles in the box. Look. I ordered food from here. It arrived within 20 minutes which is great. Also it was a week day, Tuesday imparticular. When delivery is the best you get from a place, that's sad. I expected a traditional Mongolian beef plate but I guess everything one orders from here comes with celery shoots, carrots, onion, green bell pepper, and mushrooms. I've ordered here several times and it all comes the same way meaning the vegetables and sauce flavor. Very disappointed with kitchen but delivery exceptional. Why can't chinese people's food be served traditionally instead of being served to a very low quality standard.
