Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Joplin

Braum's is always my first choice for fast-food, and with a recent extensive remodel (as of 2017), this particular store is a great choice. A recent review said "little pricey for a burger" - have you BEEN to any other fast-food chains lately?? prices for a decent cheeseburger combo are north of $7.00 in many places, but Braum's quality, value, AND price beat them all. You'll never feel half-empty after you've had any of Braum's combos, and now most come with real-ice cream shakes (scooped from one of their 20 or so flavors) - soda is always a substitute if you don't want one. Their breakfast combos are also an excellent value, with home-made taste that beats all local chains -- I will go out of my way a bit to go here for breakfast vs. other chains. Braum's sources all their own dairy, eggs, etc. from their own farms, so quality is great & you'll never have to worry about hormones, or foreign beef... Parking & access are incredibly easy at this location, as it's right on a low-traffic intersection and there's TONS of space to get around - RV's, trucks & trailers are welcome here. Staff are reasonably friendly & helpful, though sometimes the grocery-store end staff person is not there to check you out (yes, there's a SMALL GROCERY STORE inside -- skip the convenience store & go straight here -- in fact, you could skip a LOT of grocery stores & just go here for most food items). Come here for breakfast, for groceries, fast-food, or just for the ice-cream, but whatever you come for you won't be...

My family and I go to Braums all over, at least once per week across the city. This time was disappointing on so many levels. This location sorely needs better management. The young student (said that on her name tag) who helped us was obviously new. But just about every associate came over ans continuously told her she was doing it wrong took over, this happened with every order I made. By the end if this I paid for a whole meal that I didn't order, got the food but not the drink. When I tried to get it sorted the associate I talked to said well you got the food so there is nothing I can do. What??? I didn't order that, you charged me for it and since you already made it that means I have to pay for it? I guess it's normal to just add items to peoples bill?? Everyone makes mistakes they happen every place you go. Typically when they do happen, someonr aplogizes and then tries make it right. Anyways I am sure this was a mistake like I said the girl was new and needed someone with her helping not everyone coming by insulting her and taking over and obviously not doing it correctly. I spent almost $60 here today....and sadly this .ay be the last money I spend this shady business practices are very upsetting. Do not go here, if you check...

I moved to this area two years ago. Had never been to a Braum’s until then. I was impressed….at first. I became a pretty regular customer, love the frozen yogurt cones. It has consistently been getting worse. First time I ordered a chocolate cone, they give me a twist, I just took it and didn’t say anything. Next time again I order chocolate and they hand me vanilla. I’m not a fan of vanilla so I did say something. They were pretty rude, acted like I was to blame somehow. Next time I order chocolate and I did get chocolate but I thought it was odd that there were about ten napkins wrapped around the cone. As I’m driving down the road I unwrap the cone and it’s literally in pieces. Did they drop it ? They couldn’t have filled the cone in that condition. I still didn’t say anything, just vowed to never go back. That was about six months ago. Today I see the sign, butter on sale so I decided to get some. The line was very very slow. There were three cars ahead of me and it took at least 15 minutes to finally be able to place my order. While I was there I couldn’t resist ordering a cone. They were out of chocolate and told me I had to go inside to purchase the butter. No more...
