Newest Update: Leon Coberly, the Operations director, called me personally. He handled it very courteously and understandingly. I am willing to give the company a second chance. But only because their higher ups are now tracking these issues. I did not ask for a handout. I simply wanted this bad customer service to be handled and brought forward.
UPDATE: I filed a formal complaint through their website. They contacted me informing me they would have someone in the chain of command reach out to me. Never happened. So they don't care about your experience, good or bad. My recommendation is to take your money elsewhere to spend. This location is not worth your money, and they don't care about you at all. Will be posting this review everywhere so people understand the Joplin, MO, Chili's Bar and Grill is absolutely awful, with terrible management and customer service.
I had placed an order through Door dash for a Molten Chocolate Cake and a Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie, as I have done many times in the past. I received the order, but the items were uncooked. Almost totally raw. I called to speak to the restaurant first, and despite the fact that nothing advertised dessert items were delivered raw, and despite the fact they've never arrived raw previously, the manager I spoke informed me that's how it's done, and that there is nothing they could do. I tried to point out that this has never happened before, and that they did not have it advertised as being delivered raw, but the manager simply told me it had been done wrong previously, and she would do nothing about it. This was also after I had to call them a second time, since I was on hold so long the first time that the call ended. Zoey, the team member who answered both times, was very apologetic about my hold time, and promptly got the manager to FINALLY pick up the phone. All in all, I will recommend to friends and family that the evening manager does not handle customers well, and that they do not advertise things such as RAW FOOD on anything. Very disappointed. I was in Joplin today and decided to stop by Chili's in Joplin because Chili's is our favorite place to eat. (Rogers, Arkansas). I am well known in Chili's in Rogers because we go there at least 3 Times a month if not more.
Service: We walked in and was greated Nicely and asked for a booth. She seemed iratated that we requested a booth and said she has to clean one off. (Note: We saw several booths open clean).
We had 3 waitresses at our table. We asked for napkins from 1 waitress and got no napkins. Asked a 2nd waitress and got no napkins. Finally after 3 different waitresses we finally got napkins.
I ALWAYS get the Cajun Chicken Pasta. It came out burnt and old. Did not have what I asked on it. Also did not get the sides I asked for.
Another thing is that they do NOT have White Gravy at this Chili's! What?! Come on guys! Match the other store.
DISCLAIMER: The manager took care of it and the next one came out fresh. She gave us a discount WITHOUT us asking. Which was nice of her.
I have read ALOT of negative reviews about this Chili's and I have to say my experience here is that they are ALL true. Very Sad. The management and store owners NEED to do something before this store has such a bad reputation people will not want to eat Chili's anywhere. PLEASE I PLEAD YOU STOP DESTROYING the Chili's Brand.
Then THIS TAKES THE CAKE! They accused people of not paying and approached them at their truck and the driver showed them the receipt they paid at the Kiosk! Lol really?! That customer will not be back. The waitress thought the people paid but didn't see it in the system. Mmmmm. Look at the Kiosk it showed they owed nothing.

Read moreCame in tonight and sat at the bar. The restaurant was not busy at all. I ordered the Margarita Chicken at 7:50. The server that was tending bar and waiting on the bar area(was really spending time shooting the breeze with friends or family), never came to check on me for any refills or other needs. Finally, at 8:24, she brings the plate out. It had obviously been sitting under the warming lamps for some time. The plate was scalding hot. The beans had a film over them, from sitting so long. The tortilla chip strips were roached from the heat also. The chicken was dry and looked hard. I told her I was not going to eat this and it had obviously been sitting for a while. She explained that she could have another made and it would only take 5 min. I asked her, if it would only take 5 mins, why had it taken over half an hour to get mine. She told me that other stuff had to be put together before mine. There were maybe 6 tables in the restaurant that had other customers. I told her no thanks and she just walked off as if she was inconvienced over this. Would not recommend this restaurant to others because of the service.
