Upon arrival the waitress was friendly and took our order (my sister in law and I) the restaurant was dead for Friday evening at 7:30 pm (maybe 3 tables including us). First thing my sister in law ordered the sirloin and asked for it to be well done and burnt to a crisp lol (we get it’s dennys not five star dining but who doesn’t have the customer check it) her steak was medium at best but we didn’t complain. I had the build your own gs as I’m eating my Eggs I noticed a long black hair stuck to my plate and. Through my bacon. I waited patiently for the server to come check on us no site of her. So I get up noticed she was busy and motioned to her kindly just so she knew we needed something. She talks to the two tables next to us and doesn’t come by when taking drinks to the other table. So I get up with my plate and explain to another woman who turns out is the manager. I told her is she just replaces the bacon I’ll eat my food and move in I’m starving and in a hurry. She replaced the whole plate which was kind I asked for a Togo box as we needed to leave. No check was brought our server never checked on us even after that. We were gathering our things when I heard the server say her boyfriend was there in the corner and could wait (no biggie I’m just trying to get her attention for the check) she makes eye contact but doesn’t acknowledge me. We go to pay up front the manger rings us out (my meal was comped) the server comes over to the register slams some menus down and walks off. I asked the manager quietly if we upset the sever because at this point we are so confused. ( we both work customer service jobs so we get rough nights but to ignore a table and then do that.) the manager explained she had 10 tables and was the only waitress ( their wasn’t maybe 5 at the time including her boyfriend and not even stacked double sat would be dramatic) I understand kitchen mess ups and accidents happen along with bad nights. I just don’t understand treating nice customers who aren’t even being rude like trash...
Read more"Greeted" by the hostess & sat at a wobbly table. Around 10 minutes til we even got a drink order in & received Luke warm coffee & ice water. How can you get Luke warm ice water?!? Then waited another 15 min til we got to put in our food order. During that time we fixed our wobbly table because every time you moved it spilled our beverages a lil ... your welcome! ( that's where all our sugar packets went ) Overheard the elderly couple next to us ask each other if they even took their order. Figured it was because they were older ... memory & what not, but no. We soon learned it was because they were taking SO long to get their food. Almost an hour later we received our "food" my "omelette" consisted of a bunch of barely grilled, barely warm toppings under a clump of barely warm, looking like playdoh scrambled eggs. no cheese to speak of. hash browns were crazy salty & toast was cold & soggy. I tried to eat some because after this much of my time invested I had to continue on with this "adventure" it was terrible! My husband's was cold as well. pancakes looked burnt. bacon was shriveled up & barely equalled one piece let alone the two he was supposed to receive. while checking out the "hostess" said nothing to us because she was too busy talking with employees standing around cracking jokes & holding cigarettes in their hand to run outside. They were busy ... I'll give em that, but they were not understaffed & cold food during that big of a rush is just unacceptable. not one friendly face or voice. all around terrible experience & will...
Read moreUse to love this dennys. Today was the very first time i used their online order through their website. only half our order was delivered. Called the store right away, girl that answered the phone mentioned that she tried to catch the delivery driver but didnt make it in time and new they did not have our whole order. got switched to the manager, manger told me i would have to take it up with door dash. explained i ordered through dennys website, and nothing said anything about door dash. nor was there a way to make comment about missing items or anything. then was told i would have to deal with the manager coming in the next day unless i wanted to send someone out to pick up my order. as they had no way to do anything on their end for the missing food and drinks. not satisfied that i am having to pay a employee to drive all the way back over to handle what this location should have handled and could have at least called and said the driver left part of the order there as well since they knew she didnt take it all. And if door dash fell through on their side. Then i dont think i would ever want to use door dash.... check your order before their delivery...
