On the highway going home to Texas we decided to have dinner at your establishment Saturday night 2/62016. Your establishment was crowded, we were given a buzzer and told there would be about a 25 min wait. We decided to sit at the bar because there were some empty seats, maybe 3/4 couples one couple with a kid sitting at the bar, not crowed but people sitting were at the bar. We sat down and saw the bartender a little flustered because the bar was a little busy and he also had to make drinks for the waiter/waitresses. He called for the manager to come over and told her he needed some help. He was red and angry, never said a word to us. The manager came over to us and told us she was the manager for some reason, she took our order. The bartender was weird he spoke with other patrons but needed help when it was time to serve us. He seemed agitated, I felt he had a problem with us, we are African American. He probably needs some diversity training, the waiter who waited on us was wonderful, the food was good. The bartender was rude to the manage. He needs some training, period, or maybe he doesn't like his job. People who work/serve at establishments who have trouble with people who don't look like them need diversity training, they make your business appear to be unconcerned about how your customers and your other employers are treated. If you have given him training that bartender needs more. That's the reason you got 4 stars and not 5. Who and why are we still dealing with ignorant,...
Read moreWe were on a short getaway trip staying at a nearby hotel and decided steak sounded good for dinner. When we arrived they took our phone number to text is when our table was ready. We literally stepped right outside the front door and got the text that our table was ready. We thought the whole process at that time was a little ridiculous as there were many open tables and almost no one waiting. We ordered a sirloin, well done and steak medallions medium. Apparently someone got the order backwards because the sirloin came out quite medium and the medallions were very well done. There potatoes were good although mine was ordered as loaded and came out with only butter. They server did bring a cup of toppings. My husband was somewhat disappointed that corn or green beans were not a vegetable choice. He's not a fan of broccoli or squash. When asked how our food was, we showed our steaks to the server and she agreed they were not cooked correctly and offered to bring us new steaks. We were hungry and did not want to wait so we just switched meat courses. There manager came out shortly after and made the same offer. We were still ok with switching meat courses. We don't like to be the "difficult customers". She was very gracious and discounted our meal as well as giving us a gift card for a return trip to any Outback. The staff was wonderful throughout it all and we will give it another try at an Outback in...
Read moreWe arrived at around 5:10 on a Saturday night and waited an hour for a table. They were seating anyone who had used app or made reservations before walk in's. Once seated we were promptly greeted with a friendly face and got our drink rounds. Since it was a celebratory feast we decided to enjoy all courses starting with an appetizer and ordered the famous blooming onion. It was served piping hot with lots of sauce. Our salads came next, just as we were finishing the appetizer round, a beautiful crisp iceberg lettuce with halved cherry tomatoes and grated cheese. Then as the restaurant started the real rush we waited 40 minutes between our salad and the entire round Both of us ordered a different steak, mine a KC strip ordered mid rare, and his a Sirloin ordered medium. The steaks were cooked backwards. Getting pressed for time we did not send them back, but halfway we exchanged steaks and I gave up my favorite cut for him. They were seasoned well, Hot, and accompanied by a side of potato. Since it was his birthday, Mac enjoyed a Down under chocolate and ice cream dessert that...
