Floyd's Wings-N-Waffles — Restaurant in Joplin

It was a very pleasant experience. Floyd actually seated me and took my lunch order. The place was clean and Floyd was very courteous and professional. I ordered the lunch wing special (4 wings and waffle fries) for $7.97. Knowing 4 wings would not be enough, I also ordered the 6 wing order for $10 which included the waffle. They have no fountain drinks or disposable cups; only bottled product. I normally get water with my meals, so add another bit for bottled water.

The food was okay. I prefer the normal size drumettes to the jumbo sized; jumbo was served. The sauce had a good flavor and the right amount of heat. I prefer less "wet" wings.

Floyd did state that he made the waffles himself. I mentioned to him I thought they were a bit dense. Overall, I wasn't displeased with the experience. I know food prices have gone up considerably, but I don't enjoy spending...

The food was good, but was maybe a little over priced. When placing my order the young lady asked for a description of my vehicle as when it was ready it would be brought out, I thought wlthat was awesome considering it was raining out. We waited for 30 mins giving the benefit of the doubt as it was there opening weekend. I went in and the young lady asked for my name and I told her and it had been waiting under a heat lamp for I am unsure how long. I left and headed home (only a couple minutes away and was prepared for this assignment have been anticipating it since I heard it was going to open. Overall, it wasn't bad but I honestly think I could have made the exact thing in my kitchen making it a little disappointing. I will wait a little hoping any issues will be smoothed out before...

Tried this place yesterday and OH MY GOD, probably one of my favorites now!

The tender tacos were absolutely amazing! The waffle was just right, warm and soft with a crisp on the outside, tenders were crisp and flavorful even without the sauce, adding the sauce brought it together insanely well! We got the maple honey bbq for those.

Now, the wings ? YALL they were perfect! I got the spicy maple honey and it was so damn good that I didn’t need the ranch. The wings had such a nice flavor and crisp to them, I ate everything I could off those bones. Definitely will be coming here when I want wings instead of anywhere else!

AND THE SWEET POTATO FRIES? UGHHHH SO GOOD. They’re hot and crispy, and pair well with everything you can get!
