Right when we walked thru the door, we were pleasantly acknowledged and told we would be seated shortly as they were pretty busy for a Friday 10AM. We were seated at a table. The server took our drink order. The drinks came out pretty fast. I had the cold brewed coffee, the grandson had an iced mocha and the wife had milk. The grandson and I both agreed that the coffee was pretty good. Then the food came. Let me tell you that when I say there was enough food for the average person to have 2 meals out of what they brought us, I'm not kidding. I am by no means an average eater. But my wife and grandson are. They are both taking home to go boxes as I'm writing this. I had the Turkey Florentine. My wife had biscuits and gravy. And the grandson had the pancake platter. The pancakes were the size of the entire plate. On top of that they brought out another plate with his eggs bacon and potatoes. And the biscuits do live up to the name. Also I'm not a huge fan of biscuits to begin with. But I tried the wife's biscuits and gravy, and it was amazing. I would smash an entire order of those things. The turkey Florentine was cooked and prepared to perfection. The turkey was very well seasoned, juicy, and tender. There was a very healthy serving of spinach on it The tomato slices were big enough to cover the English muffin, but not too big for the plate. The eggs were poached to perfection. The hollandaise sauce was flavorful and had a very fresh acidic flavor to it like fresh squeezed lemon juice or the fresh zest of lemon it was a very unique holiday sauce and arguably my favorite. The breakfast potatoes and the french fries were cooked to a perfect golden brown, and we're very crispy. Normally I would want to sit and savor food like that. However, I also know the nature of the business of restaurants. The idea is to turn and burnt tables as fast as you can. That being said, the next time I go there, I would love to see their tables full and a line out the door. Because they deserve it. So, Internet, do...
Read moreI don't give out 5 stars often, only when it is earned. The Big Biscuit nailed it! I took my mother to late breakfast/ early lunch, everything was done right. She just wanted 1 biscuit with gravy and I had the Big BLT w/ fries. When I first saw the price for the sandwich I thought it was a bit much for a bacon sandwich but it sounded good. I was surprised at the amount of bacon I got. It was fried perfect and the bread toasted perfectly, well worth the price. The fries were the right amount of crisp, it all tasted so good! The service was top-notch notch! The ticket says the server's name is Victoria. She was so nice! Victoria didn't miss anything, refills on coffee &water, the order, the attention, everything was perfect... she was everything you hope for in a server. If I get a chance to back I would ask for her to be my server! I had never been to a Big Biscuit before this visit. I highly recommend and would return to this location. If you go and you are lucky enough to be served by Victoria or get that level of service, if your food is as good as ours was, then you will agree, they got ot all...
Read moreWith only giving 4 stars overall and 5 stars for each category I need to explain. This was my third time there. First time was opening day and I have zero issues with that visit. Second visit I had a first timer with me and our male waiter ruined the visit. He was “over the top” in our face, unaccommodating for a special order (crispy bacon) and even touched my friend's food and dropped a menu in it (and she is OCD). Third visit was yesterday and we shared our previous experience with the manager and GM. They were appreciative that we enlightened them. Our server was Kaydence and she was amazing, even prayed with us for the blessing. Only issue was the sticky biscuit. My friend ordered it after Kaydence told her about it and all the toppings possible; Kaydence told us it was $4.99. My friend chose toppings of pecans, caramel drizzle and whip cream. We were not told the toppings were extra. The pecans alone was an additional $3 and I believe the other two toppings totaled $1.50 so the $4.99 sticky bun cost almost $10. She should have told us. BTW, my friend said the sticky bun...
