We stumbled into Luke's on a whim. We were in the plaza for a totally different reason, but saw Luke's still open. We came in late - 3pm and somehow, a great selection was still avaliable? - Just from memory, they had red velvet cake with or without frosting, strawberry, lemon filled, raspberry filled, strawberry filled, powdered, blueberry fritter, apple fritter, maple bacon, fruity pebbles, pineapple, glazed, banana crunch...more I can't remember. We ended up with the last maple bacon, fruity pebble, glaze, pineapple, red with frosting and red velvet without frosting. We were really excited, and as I said, we got there late - 3pm - When I tell you, these donuts were STILL so fresh and soft! Not at ALL stale or dry. It's mindboggling. Red velvet with frosting is more on the sweeter side and like a cake donut. Maple bacon is for SURE bacon-y, cutting the sweetness. Pineapple was SO moist and had the right amount of sweetness. The glazed was a perfectly raised and glazed, the glaze being not too sweet and probably the best glazed donut I have had.
I will definitely be returning as I am kicking myself for not indulging in the blueberry fritter; do NOT skip this place! You won't regret it at...
Read moreI am not one to blast businesses but what we just experienced was unbelievably unprofessional. I work for a preschool and every year we partner with Make-a-wish and we do various fundraisers throughout the year. We reached out to Lukes Dixie Donuts in Jupiter, and we asked if we could partner with them. If our parents brought in something stating they were from the school, they would give us 10% of those sales to go back to Make-a-wish. After mutually agreeing on a date and time through email and even confirming with them the day before. We arrive this morning and the owner tells us that we are not allowed to hand out the flyers we brought to give to our parents so they knew they were from our preschool and that it was a “very busy day” for the business today and that we would be taking “sales” from them. They were only worried about the money that they would lose by giving us the 10% to donate to Make-a-wish. We asked what about the parents who already have the flyer what if they come in and give it to you and she stated “ It’s a very busy day today and we will not being honoring it today.” I mean who has it in their hearts to turn down...
Read moreI absolutely love this donut place. Donuts are fresh & amazing & every time i go in, fresh donuts are always being made. I especially love when they make fresh glaze cause they melt right in your mouth. I will always stop by whenever i get a chance to.
The 2nd part of my review is to call out another reviewer named Mandy. If you’re going to leave a review, don’t leave lies to ruin a small business just to support another. The staff is always friendly here & very helpful, donuts are FAR FROM DRY, as for sanitary measures, i always see staff wearing gloves when handling donuts. You sound like you work for Jupiter donuts hun & that’s sad to bash another business just to make yours look better. Do better instead of writing insane reviews to boost your business. Absolutely ridiculous to stoop to such a petty level to destroy another business. Get over yourself. Especially since your profile looks like it was just created to only make that ONE REVIEW.
For anyone else looking at these reviews, don’t allow this one from MANDY to deter you from stopping by & getting some of these...
