Today was my first time visiting Maplewood Bagel Market and it will most likely be one of my last times. I had been warned that while their food is good, their service is terrible. That warning proved to be true. The staff is blunt and not very helpful. You can't see all the bagels available, as you can not access the counter "due to Covid". I ordered a bakers dozen and originally tried to select what I wanted, but after a couple of fails, I said just make it assorted. They then shoved what I thought to be 13 bagels into a bag that should have had at 8 or so placed in it and had the bag brought over to me. When I got home found that the bag was short one bagel and the the bagels were grossly misshaped. Prior to leaving a review I placed a call to speak with the owner/manager. The owner, David, returned my call and said that he would comp me 4 bagels on my next visit. I explained to David that being short a bagel was not a big deal, but not being treated kindly was. I spoke to him regarding the lack of service and the inability to access the counter. He stated that he was aware that the service is lacking, in fact he might not even to say hello to a customer. He said while that may be the case, we have the best food and cleanest store. He made it clear that service is not a concern and that most of his customers are regulars and they know what they want. While service may not be important to David, it is important to me. I'm sorry that he is short staffed, but that and Covid are no justification for being rude. I can overlook many things, but not feeling welcomed in an establishment is not...

I just visited The Maplewood Bagel Market for the first time this morning while in Jupiter, and I have to say: it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.
From the moment I stepped in, the owner Eric is to greet and welcome everyone. Eric even noticed that i was a first time patron! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, and you can immediately tell this place is something special. I wasn't familiar with the menu and felt no pressure to rush in making my selections. The staff was super helpful by discussing some of the favorite menus items!
Now, the food: absolutely exceptional. I tried an everything bagel with their house-made cream cheese, and it was unlike any bagel I've had before. On top of that, I ordered a pumpkin iced coffee that turned out to be the best coffee Iâve ever tastedâEric mentioned he ships it in from New York, so itâs truly unique to this shop.
This was my first time at The Maplewood Bagel Market, but it definitely wonât be my last. Do yourself a favor and start your day with a bagel from hereâyou...

On one hand they have hands down the best breakfast sandwiches in all of Jupiter. They use real bacon and real eggs. There bagels are always fresh, and the chicken salad is pure bliss.
On the other hand, the staff is extremely rude, and they are the slowest place i have ever been to. Before Covid, the would have a line out the door with 30 people waiting inside. During Covid they have 6 people inside and a line forming out the door and we still have a hard time pushing people through. I've been seated and served at Berry Fresh with a full course breakfast, faster then they can slap some bacon and eggs on a bagel. There is zero excuses for that.
With some improvements to staffing and their attitudes. And some training on being more efficient on time and speed, they would easily have 5 stars. Im still shocked that in this day and age, and during these times, that they dont have a website with online ordering. That could solve a lot of issues right there. But until they can fix their problems, they are hit or miss and they remain an occasional stop, rather than...
