Been going to this location since it's opening and I have never had an issue, until today.
Waited a while for my drink because there was literally no one working on making them. The person who ended up making my drink went from poking through the trash in the kitchen without gloves, to making my drink without washing his hands in between those two tasks. When he finally remembered to wash his hands he was more than halfway through making my drink. He then had to poke through a smaller trash bin in the barista area and finished making my drink, yet again without washing his hands after he pokes through the trash.
Once I finally received my drink I just ended up throwing it in the trash, in no way am I going to be drinking something that was made with hands that were picking through trash cans without proper washing.
If your workers are going to be unsanitary, at least don't do it in direct eyesight of the customer. I watched every misstep from beginning to end.
I won't be ordering from here again. If I have to, I'll drive all the way to rancho...
Read moreSo, our first visit to our new store! We decided to come for a breakfast date, as they do have seating available🙂 We started with a ham and cheese sandwich. Warning: they are messy to eat! We had ours warmed. The pastry is very flaky and buttery, hence the messy😉 This sandwich has several layers of flavor, which made it quite delightful. This was followed by a Milk Butter Puff, which has a custard style filling. Flavors are understated, keeping them from being too sweet. Our last taste test was a Premium Milk. Don’t let the plain exterior fool you! This has actual white chocolate inside😋 It is sweet, so be aware. The only shortfall was our Mochas, which were a little too bland. However, Mariane was very accommodating in trying to fix them for us. Jessica was very helpful from the outset, even taking us through the selections and explaining them to us (the store was almost empty at the time). Definitely looking forward to...
Read moreI usually love coming to 85° Bakery on Pat’s Ranch Road, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing. The customer service was terrible, which is surprising since I’ve always enjoyed the friendly atmosphere here. Unfortunately, the server was very unprofessional. When I asked for his name, he sarcastically said “Jell-O” instead of giving me his real name, which felt dismissive and disrespectful. I understand that it can get busy, but that’s no excuse to let your emotions get the best of you. A little courtesy goes a long way, and sadly, it was lacking during my visit. I hope management addresses this, as I’d hate for this location to lose its...
