Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Kalamazoo

Received order hot, super fast, and scrumptious!! Will definitely order again. Great food for great price! : my previous review from over 2 years ago.

Sad to say I changed my review to one star which they don’t deserve. My daughter and I both used to order Domino’s frequently (1-3 times a week but at least weekly). My orders and my daughter’s (delivery and pick up) were messed up in some way the last 5 times or more: missing food items and toppings, burnt food, leaving part of delivery like the sauce paid extra for and last but not least; MY LAST STRAW WAS WHEN I HAD SOMEONE’S NASTY HAIR IN MY FOOD AND THE STORE REFUSED TO FIX ORDER OR REFUND ME MY MONEY THEN HAD THE NERVES TO SAY WE JUST FIXED THE LAST ORDER FOR YOU. Basically blamed me for their mess ups like I was the one in the kitchen preparing orders. I know we’re all human and make mistakes but the customer service polite thing to do is apologize, fix the problem by replacing the messed up item or refunding money paid, which they refused to do with my last order. Also learn from your mistakes NEVER EVER BLAME THE CUSTOMER WHEN YOU(the company) CONTINUE TO MESS UP WITH SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS THIS ITS FOOD NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, NOT JUST ONCE BUT MORE THAN FIVE TIMES IN A ROW AND I NEVER ORDERED THERE SINCE AND WILL NEVER AGAIN. Saw the Large 2-Topping carry out special for $6.99. I placed one order and on the crust option it said “would you like to add Parmesan stuffed crust for $3 more?” So I checked yes. Assuming I was getting a large two topping pizza with Parmesan stuffed crust. My mom picked my order up for me and while bringing it to me she decided she wanted one. So I did another online order for the exact same deal adding the special crust for $3 extra. We get both orders and both pizzas are a medium. I call the store and speak with the manager and told him what I ordered. He said “Those are online orders, we don’t deal with that we just make the pizzas” he then told me that the Parmesan stuffed crust don’t come in a large size. I explained to him that it does not say when you pay the $3 that it is changing the pizza to a medium. I was expecting to get a large size to feed my kids and ended up with a medium. This manger was very rude, he said “that’s how you ordered it I can’t do anything about it” he wasn’t willing to make it right, he didn’t apologize, he acted clueless that it changes it to a medium online after the $3 up charge. All the money I have spent with this company over the years and to be treated so rude when I was desperately hoping for some sort of resolution is ridiculous. The pizza? fantastic. Just like any dominos place, you will get quality food. However, in the city of Kalamazoo and Portage, there are several dominos, as you will find if you go on the dominos website. I am only writing a poor review for this one. why?

According to the dominos website, this is the only DELIVERY location in the area. The others are not. That's fine, they're honest and say that they don't deliver, I understand. That doesn't warrent a bad review.

Why does this one get a bad review for being the only delivery location though? The mere fact that, in fact, they don't deliver. They arbitrarily choose times and places that they will and won't deliver to.

I am a freshman college student, and live in a dorm. Dominos took the time to actually list my college and every dorm building in a dropdown menu, including mine, for a delivery location. All goes fine until I reach checkout, at which point the delivery option switches immediatly to carryout. I've tried this with numerous dorms, and actually switched computers, so i know this is a choice by Dominos themself. Based on other reviews, this is a common critique for this location.

Either say that you aren't a delivery location, or start delivering. Once that happens, I will raise my review. And if you start delivering, I promise you that you will have one heck of a loyal...
