Load A Spud Potato Bar — Restaurant in Kalamazoo

Family-owned and run, this new restaurant surprised me in many ways. The potatoes that form the base for the wide variety of available toppings are outstanding by themselves-enormous, flavorful, baked to perfection. The menu has a wide variety of options to top/customize your spud; each one we tried was packed with flavor. No salt was needed. I consider that as a mark of great food. This establishment is not pretentious-you get great food assembled to order very quickly as you go down the line to the register by friendly and efficient staff. Be warned-one loaded potato will be both lunch and dinner that day...the portions are mighty. Bring your appetite and come back often.

Customer service was great one of the owners was running it and i would assume does most of the time. This place is a gem i got the gyro spud and my wife got the pulled pork spud and both were outstanding. We spent 25 about but the potatoes were double the size of normal potatoes and I feel 11.50 each was worth it. The ingredients were above par and definitely layered with flavor. Went to the restaurant 3/29/23 at Noon , it was still closed , website, grubhub and Google all have different hours of operation. Also tried to call and see if the hours changed but there was no information and I was asked for a remote access code. Very disappointed since I was getting lunch for myself and other coworkers and was let down and now they are reluctant to give this restaurant another chance can't say I blame them. Hope you figure out a way to fix this issue...
