Ordered Shish Tawook and Fatoosh. Fatoosh: Delighted when the fried pita chips were on 'top' when I emptied the salad from the styrofoam container onto my plate (meaning they were placed in the container first, on the bottom). Perfect, just right, and so thoughtful! Loved it! Strangest fattoush I've ever had.there were sliced onions on it that seemed seasoned as if it were a Greek salad, and maybe that was a bit influenced by the fact that it was served with a red wine vinaigrette Greek dressing. All traditional flavors such as mint or lemon were missing. It was delicious, but definitely not what I would call fattoush, however I am not an expert, so you can make your own call—though I did learn how to make Greek dressing from the Greeks! Sandwich: Even though I verified that they make everything there, themselves, and that they have both chicken shawarma and beef shawarma, they could not make the sandwich with beef instead of chicken. I cannot fathom how this cannot be. That was a bit disappointing. The man you said the sandwich came with both garlic sauce and tahini, but it was a bit dry, and by the time I was finishing it, I was glad to have the excess Greek dressing on my plate to soak it in. The pickles were there, however not prominent. while I have not very many sandwiches to compare this to, the coolness of a garlic sauce with the zip of a pickle with the meat and its spices and juices that I was as hoping for were a bit lacking. I can hope that as business picks up as COVID-related downtime fades, perhaps things will improve a bit. Until then... maybe I'll stop in and say hello as the staff was great. Lovely. The energy was really good, and everybody was working; nobody standing around looking at their phones, which was refreshing, and the staff appreciation invested in what they were doing and I completely back that kind of integrity. I love that. So in summary, I'll be back... in some form. But definitely not to order what I ordered, and maybe not to order food at all; we'll see.

First time patron. Incredible customer service. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. From my view, clean work space and dining area. Due to Covid, most orders are takeout. I purchased the Mixed Combo for 1 and an extra falafel, with rice as my side. Food was great! Shish Tawook was flavorful and tender. Rice was very good! Falafel were done perfectly. Stuffed grape leaves were different than Ive ever tried before. Great flavor profile. Garlic sauce is your basic sauce. My only two MINOR gripes: the kafta and "hot sauce". The kafta was not bad...I've just had better. The "hot sauce" (possibly just this batch), was an illusion. It was just crushed tomato sauce. Zero heat! Overall, I will definitely go back! Great staff, ample portions, amazing flavors,...what else do you want? ☺️

Tried Middle Eastern Appetite today! Always passed by this restaurant but never stopped, glad I did! Got the Shish Tawook! The chicken was grilled to perfection and had tons of flavor! The Pita was flavored nicely. I took the chicken and rice and veggies and put them all in the wrap and ate it! The rice was a great addition to the plate, and when I was done with the pita, I mixed everything and ate it! The restaurant is roomy and cozy and welcoming! The staff was amazing as well and really appreciated the recommendation especially for someone who doesn’t eat a lot of middle eastern food!

We had gone to a popular mediterranean restaurant at drake only to be told the dine in was closed at 8:05 itself while the restaurant closes at 9. Although people were still dining inside and we are regulars there. Anyways we were glad to go to Mediterranean Eastern Appetite instead. The food was really nice and fresh. The best thing was the great service provided by the two gentleman which the other so called popular restaurant can learn a thing or two from. The restaurant is located near the campus and is a big convenience for people looking for "Halal" restaurants.

We come here often. Some of my faves are the fried chicken (make it spicy), chicken shawarma, fattoush salad, chicken mandí and honestly there’s more. The food is fresh and their hours are very convenient for anytime you’d be hungry. The food is always flavorful and the service always prompt and polite. I remember how surprised I was with the quality with it being so close to campus. The students have a gem walking distance to them, but even so it’s nice to go to even if you’re just from one of the neighboring areas. You can’t go wrong with anything you order.

Well, the entire menu is halal and no alcohol is served. That makes this place perfect. However, the food quantity is not proportional to the price. In addition, the shawarma and kofta taste are okay. The description in the menu is not accurate and you can’t figure out what comes in the plate until you have it. The food is served in boxes although we dined in. I don’t prefer to eat in takeaway boxes if I dine in. The staff were very kind and welcoming. The bathroom is okay and clean.
