Was invited here to celebrate my uncles birthday. I have never been before. Located in Concord. Pretty big location. There are plenty of parking spaces around the building and plenty of table seating inside. Went on a Saturday, and there was a able reserved for us already (21 people). The restaurant will decorate the table for you if you let them know it's for a birthday. They put table clothes and even 2 balloons, which I thought was a nice touch. Now our party did come in during different times so part of the party ordered and it did take more than 30 min to receive our food. It is a seafood type restaurant, so they have a lot of extravagant seafood platters and including drinks! They are a bit pricey but for the amount of food you get, ita not bad. I got the "fried mojarra with garlic sauce, rice, fries, and salad." The fish was delicious, and it was my first time eating it with garlic sauce. The fries I wish were a big crisper, but they were soggy and not really good. The fish and rice were delicious, though. This night, they did have a live band playing, which was ok, but unfortunately, it was so loud we couldn't really talk to anybody without legit screaming. Not a bad place, and if I lived closer, I maybe would come back and try something else, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come back. The waitress, at the end, messed up everyone's check, and it did get messy towards the end, but I guess that's what happens with...
Read moreWhen we came in, the restaurant is very nicely decorated, makes you feel like in at a southern beach house. If you ever had a home at the beach or been in one, that is what it reminds you of, very comforting. The staff is and looks very professional but if you have ever been in high standard Mexican restaurants, the service is at that quality, so… very good. The menu…. We took at look, only about two dishes were of a affordable price of $16 and the rest ranged from $34 up to $260!!!!! We thought the place was ridiculously overpriced! We ordered beers and one Molcajete for two at $50, that’s the average price for that dish on other restaurants. When we tried the food, we understood the food is very worth it’s price, it is different and great tasting!!!! It is luxurious Mexican cuisine and we will definitely pay their price again for that exquisite, tropical and exotic taste you can not find anywhere else, and if you...
Read moreThis was my favorite place to eat seafood. The problem was that we sat there for 15 minutes without being greeted.the place wasn’t even busy to start. After 15 minutes the waitress came and gave us the free appetizers and said I will be back and didn’t even take our drink orders . Another 10 minutes went by and we had to stop her and told here we needed drinks . She was taking so long that we told her to take our orders. My wife ordered water with lemon and they gave her a margarita cup with cucumber and lemon mixed in the water. She left and we tried to get her attention and 10 minutes later I had to stop again and told her if our money was not green enough. We were so upset that we asked for the check for the sodas and she said the food was ready. My family agreed to stay and we ask for the manager and he had no experience in...
