Had horrible customer service today from when the girl who was supposed to take my order outside at the drive thru ignored me and didn’t ask me what I wanted to eat she just completely skipped me then as I move up to the drive thru window I was going make a complaint about it but the manager girl who talk to me had refused to place my order as well and told me to get back in line again when I was already in line. She said I skip in line when some other nice customers lady had been generous to let me in front of her during the drive thru waiting line. After I told the manager girl that she rudely and angry said to me she don’t care and she walk off when I wasn’t even done talking to her. All I wanted to do was place my order and pay for it that was it not like I was refusing to pay for it. That was for my Little girl to eat for lunch too. That the worst experience I ever had with Chick-fil-A and it’s make me feel not welcome at all. I was so upset and shock that I had experience that today especially from someone who claim to be a manager should know how to act and handle things better then that. I don’t think i ever want to come back or bring my business here anymore. I appreciated the other two kind manager who toward the end had came out and apologize and listen to everything even was very understanding too. I think they act more professional then their other girl manager who definitely doesn’t deserve her position. Worst experience ever and highly doubt I will ever be back again. For everyone who do come here I hope and pray that will won’t end up like me and had to be treat like this so unfair and uncall for. Especially when the fault was clearly not with the customers but with the employee. Smh.. I extremely hate that my little girl had see how rude and awful her mother was been treated when all she was trying do was buy some food for her child to eat. If you going to run a business your customers is your number one priority because without your customers you wouldn’t have any business. The one things I’m sure no matter where you go everyone know that customers service is the most important thing without it there is no business I am sad to say I been a long and loyal customer of Chick-fil-A always bringing my business and spend money here because you guys are great but after this incident I highly doubt I feel the same again about you guys. You need to retrain your employees they don’t know how treat customers. I am they don’t want anyone treating them like that so why treat other that way. Especially upper management like that manager girl if she going be a manager then act like one and handle situation more properly and better then acting so immature and rude definitely abusing her authority right there. She definitely don’t deserve that position at all. I hate to say this but I don’t think I’m ever returning back no matter how great the foods and price it but if the customer service is horrible what is the point. I would like to enjoy a meal and be happy not be upset while...
Read moreHow the mighty have fallen. This once great Chickfila location has seen a serious decline in the past year two years. The standards for employees have decreased dramatically. My teens worked here several years ago and back then, this place was run like a well oiled machine. The managers expected employees to meet professional standards in appearance, attitude and service. Now, it is like the trainees are running the place. I have witnessed many unprofessional behaviors by employees while dining in, such as loud personal conversations, ignoring customers, one employee rubbing the back of another employee while in plain view of everyone and countless other incidents that have contributed to a negative view of this location. The drive thru is a whole other issue. I had 3 mobile orders in a row that were delivered to me completely wrong or missing things. One time, I spent 20 minutes in the drive thru line trying to get the employees to get my order right, I couldn't leave to go in and speak to a manager because there were cars in front of me who still hadn't gotten their food either. I have come to expect something missing from my order when going through the drive thru so I always check before I pull away. Today my daughter had a mobile order for an ice cream cone. She sat in the drive thru line for 10 mins, kept getting ignored, finally an employee yelled from the window to the outside lane where she was sitting. She told them her name, they kept yelling back the wrong name. Kept telling her they didn't have her order and the attitude from the employee was that my daughter must be the problem. Not once did they come over to look at her mobile order to confirm it. Finally, the same employee walks over, hands her the ice cream cone, doesnt say a word and walks away. So clearly, they did have her order, but not a word of apology or even a word at all. There are countless visits that I could document here that were negative but its mainly the unprofessionalism in the employees that is so disappointing, they do not seem to care about delivering good customer service, especially in the afternoon/evening shifts. Where are the managers?? Is anyone overseeing the employees at all? Is excellent customer service and quality a thing of the past? I try to avoid this location at all costs because the service quality is so bad. Try the Concord Parkway locations or even Concord Mills. Roland, this once great location has fallen, please do something, it's so...
Read moreI don’t eat at many fast food places, but I do indulge in Chickfila. The Chickfila at Afton Ridge is the closest to my home and I have frequented that establishment for the 2 years I have lived nearby. Prior to this Chickfila closing for renovations over the summer of 2024, I would visit there often with either my family or by myself. The Chickfila closed for about 3 months and I visited their sister store in Concord Mills a handful of times and had exceptional service. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the Chickfila at Afton Ridge.
The Chickfila at Afton Ridge just re-opened at the beginning of August and I’ve been there 5 times with my family, but tonight is the final time I will ever visit this Chikfila. While the staff is pleasant, the lack of execution, lack of quality service and lack of timeliness with executing orders leaves a lot to be desired. Each of the 5 times I’ve been there this month alone, something was wrong with my order- everything from my drinks being forgotten (twice), to my cookies missing from my order, to the incorrect fry size being given, and tonight my entire sandwich being wrong. I am generally a forgiving person, so I overlooked the other 4 infractions, but tonight after I got home, I discovered the sandwich I ordered was nothing like I received. I ordered the seasonal, maple bacon sandwich with no pickles. The sandwich I received had tomatoes (the sandwich doesn’t even come with tomatoes), no cheese, and no bacon.
I was obviously dismayed and I called the Chickfila back. I spoke with presumably the manager on duty, Rachel. What I can say about Rachel and the other staff I have encountered is that they are pleasant- but that is all I can say. Upon reopening, I noticed a lot of workers had badges that say “training” and I can understand and respect the need for new staff. However, it is apparent to me that the workers in training, as well as the existing staff have not been properly trained and there are no quality checks that are consistently being done.
I would urge management at this Chickfila to improve quality checks and focus on execution to give their customers what they pay for. While this used to be my “home” Chickfila, the quality here is very disappointing and I will no longer continue to give them my money for...
