The food is healthy and delicious but.... THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIFIC! The food service line is fully disorganized, and the employees rude! Your employees prioritized making to-go orders instead of helping the people backed up standing in front of them! You have three stations to prepare the food and your employees kept mixing up my bowl with my daughter's bowl, which is very hard to do because your prep line is very very short. After we initially had our Rice and noodles and salad placed in our bowls...our food just sat up on the counter for a long time untill the person who adds the vegetables was available because they were doing to-go orders, so we just had to sit there and watch them make to go orders with all these people standing behind us. And your employees were in a bad mood because of this and took it out on their customers with bad attitudes! In the future we will visit the Bibibop at Oak Park Mall and drive that far because the food is really wonderful, it matches our gluten-free diet! We suggest you develop a better system to serve the customers in your store, you need a designated carryout person just to work on that area. Read moreI tried the Waldo location in Kansas City a few days ago. My experience was horrible. The online ordering was not working and no one would pick up the phone at the location and there is no main number on the website. So I drove to the store and went inside to order. There were only 2 employees present, one working the counter/making bowls/running the register, and the other one was cooking the ingredients. This was on a Friday evening at 6:30pm, one of the busiest times for a restaurant. One person was in line in front of me when I arrived. I waited at least 15 mins in line behind the one person before it was my turn. In the meantime, 10-15 people accumulated in the line behind me. Many left because the service was soooo slow. There was no acknowledgement or explanation from either of the two employees present. While the food was good once I got it, it wasn’t good enough to make up for the bad service and inoperable technology. I tried to order online again tonight, but it was the same story. The online ordering capability for this location was down again (or still). So I took my business to another nearby local restaurant, Strip’s, which has excellent online ordering capabilities, great customer service and fantastic food. I doubt I’ll be going...
Read moreMy friend and I had not yet visited Bibibop, so we decided to make our first visit today. We're so glad we did!
Lorenda was behind the counter, and was SUPER helpful!! She pointed out all our choices and the way she could put together our bowls. She also told us about each of the sauces and their various flavors. She was friendly and genuinely appeared to be happy to assist us.
Our meals were DELICIOUS! The flavors all paired well together and were quite fresh. All the choices for bowl ingredients were very healthy; we went with the vegetarian options, but there are also protein options (chicken, beef, tofu).
The space itself is really inviting; the open counter (with clear plastic dividers) helps the ordering area feel larger, and the tables area flanked by windows is light and airy.
The prices are extremely reasonable, and the portion sizes are ample. Both my friend and I were pleasantly full by the time we finished our bowls.
AND there's free Miso soup!! What's not to love?! :-)
