Earl's Provisions — Restaurant in Kansas City

This place is super cute, and the staff was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated.

That said, the food didn’t quite live up to the charm. My husband and I both ordered the sausage/egg/cheese biscuit sandwiches along with a baked good.

The biscuits were unfortunately way over-baked—dry and crunchy, though I could tell the flavor itself had potential. The sausage also came in a pre-formed puck shape, which felt a little underwhelming. I would have loved if it had been cooked and pressed so it filled the biscuit more naturally.

The baked goods also seemed over-baked, which makes me wonder if the oven temperature might be too high or the bake times too long.

I really wanted to love this spot, especially since it’s just half a block from my house. I’ll definitely give it another try down the road and hope to see improvements, because the atmosphere and staff...

First time stopping by the provisions next to the sit down Earl's and I see myself becoming a regular! The cupcake was so delicious I forgot to take a picture but it was beautiful. Just as good if not better than McLain's, and so unique, and I don't say that lightly! Sandwich was delicious and the to go meals I got because I needed good prepared food this week are amazing. What a great addition to my already favorite restaurant in KC. When Chai Shai left this location I was so sad but I think the replacement has been just as good...

The macaroni salad is the best. The chicken salad with tarragon is delicious. Pumpkin scones- perfect. We love all the baked goods and quiches. Sandwiches priced well- I'd pay more for extra ingredients, a little more Turkey...really friendly service. A great addition to the...
