One has to start with the greeting. My wife and I walked in for the first time and they treated us like they’ve known us for years. Very welcoming. We ended up taking a great, secluded table for two that provided a great view of the bartenders hard at work, along with a background of the entire bar. We were situated near the restrooms, but never would have known had I not needed the use of the facilities myself. Enough with the exceptionally laid out and usefulness of the space and let’s talk cocktails. First, theBee’s Knees... a honey forward gin cocktail that will bee’s please all of us of a sweet gin drink. Next, the Mezcal Paloma, smokey and delicious! I’ll be back for more. On to the Pic’s Cosmo... a great value for a fancy cosmo, my words, not theirs. Come in a have a great cosmo after work or on a date. Can’t beat it. Probably the most interesting and my favorite cocktail of the night is the Retro Cocktail Hour. I’d be so disappointed if they ever took this off the menu. One of the best rum cocktails you will find in the Midwest. Make the trip for this alone. You will recommend to all. Just beware that you should plan on pre-dinner or post-dinner cocktails/drinks here as there are no food offerings. They concentrate their efforts on making you the best...

Peering around (it was a stormy night during my last visit, so the place was relatively quiet), I imagine the garage windows raised to the ceiling so the bustle from the 39th Street sidewalk becomes one with the bar.
Or, I see myself sitting quietly with my journal on a similar stormy day sipping coffee. Goat & Rabbit now has a barista most mornings😉.
Most of all, I look forward to returning again and again with old friends and to meet...

There are some tables and chairs next to the garage windows, these are pretty cramped and uncomfortable. But the rest of the place has very comfortable and beautiful seating. There are a few couches/chaises and then chairs around the bar. Overall, it's kind of a small or tight bar so if that makes you uncomfortable in a (post?) pandemic, be ware. There's outdoor seating in the back as an alternative. Restrooms are gender neutral but not fully accessible. The cocktails here were all perfect. We really enjoyed our time here. Only complaint is they don't have chilled glasses to serve with...
