Hook Gallery & Framing — Attraction in Kansas City

I took in my dad's old Boy Scout memorabilia to be framed, and had only a general idea of how I hoped it would turn out. The results exceeded my expectations in every way. I just walked in with a shoebox for of stuff, and during the initial meeting Scott and I exchanged various layout ideas until we settled on a working model. When I told him my budget, Scott countered with a price that was below the low end of my range. (My first thought was, "But I want it to look good.") I left him with the stuff and a deadline (about two weeks), and Scott did the rest. With plenty of time before the deadline, he sent a pic of the rough mockup for approval (which included a couple of improvements in the original design). As the deadline neared, he reached out to communicate where he was in the process without my needing to call him. Later, Scott sent a pic of the nearly-completed piece (at around 7:00pm on Friday night!), and it looked even better than I had originally imagined. When I ultimately went to pick up the final product, I was actually surprised that the final cost was the same as his original estimate. Quality, value, professionalism -- it's all here. I won't even consider another place in the future as long as Hook is around.
