I’m am very frustrated with the service I have experienced at Minskys when there is an issue with payment. On March 15th my husband and my daughter and I ate at Minskys on Barry Rd & N. Oak. Food was good, however Sat I look at my bank acct and realize we were over charged by $180.00! Our bill was 79.09, 99.09 with a 20.00 tip. I of course called right away and let them know the issue. It took them a min to find the receipt and see the error on their end. My self being in the accounting world wonders how their books were good when there was clearly a 200.00 tip that wasn’t looked at twice? Whatever mistakes happen, we are frequent customers and I was told the manager Lindsay would be in on Sunday and get a credit back to me in 48ish hrs, this seemed reasonable. I asked them to call if there were any issues and I could even come up with my card if that was easier. I got no call no update. Tuesday the 19th I call to see what’s up, there was an issue Sunday had to call help support so nothing was done till Monday when they were in, also seemed reasonable. I called again on Thursday, they were going to check it out and see what was going on and let me know. I got nothing, called a few more times Lindsay wasn’t in not sure what has happened saw email to help desk nobody knows what’s up. I called Monday the 25th, Lindsay is in hooray, she says she will contact help again and copy me on email, I’m so frustrated now 9 days in and tell her my time is worth a total refund and she say she can discount food on my next visit. I receive email with communication to help and the response is there was some confusion with the tip but it should be taken care of and would see it the following day. I did respond to email with my thoughts of improving their process for the consumer sake. So this morning I wake to to finally see a credit in my bank account for guess what….the wrong amount! They only credited the original amount of the ticket 79.09! Are you kidding me? The email to help even had the correct amount and they still screwed it up! I stand by they need to correct the process and not make the customer wait 10 days for resolution that is still wrong! I have called 8 times in 10 days and have only received 2 calls back with a follow up. I will call again today and hopefully have a resolution. This small issue could have really made a huge issue for someone tight on funds and this should never happen! How sad for you...
Read moreWe ordered over $100 worth of food. We didn’t receive our full order and the food we got was messed up. We ordered mozzarella sticks and they were so over cooked they were inedible. We told the delivery driver of the missing items and so he thought he got orders mixed up and opened another persons order which is so gross. Next he said he would be back with our food later. Over an hour later we called because the driver said it would be 30 minutes and the lady said it would be 10 more minutes. 2 hours later than that we called again and we were told to talk to the manager. We talked to her and she was completely rude and told us it was just too busy and there was nothing they could do. We told them don’t come it’s already later than 9 pm. They lady just kept saying it want their fault. Finally we hung up and the driver came by at 10 pm. He kept apologizing and was very nice but the manager was already rude and it was late. They gave us the missing food which was gross and freezing cold. We had a kid trying to sleep and we told them not to come. The manage didn’t offer anything like a refund or a free anything. This location is literally down the road and it took them over 3 hours for our food. Absolutely horrible service. The manger makes us not want to eat here again. Wont make the same mistake in the future.
Edit: the manager called again and left a voicemail basically saying how she wasn’t done talking because I hung up and said just kept saying how she was still talking and to call her back. I will not be calling back she was horrible to talk to. I wish I had her name but I...
Read moreI ordered delivery. The person who answered the phone was really pleasant and sweet, they took down all my information and made sure to verify everything. I ordered a vegan calzone, my wife I ordered for, had a bacon and sausage calzone.
Didn't take too long to be delivered, probably about 40 minutes. The delivery driver was pleasant and nice when he arrived.
The food was decent. My wife said her bacon and sausage calzone was pretty ordinary run of the mill. My own calzone, on the other hand, was a tad dry. I know that making vegan food is quite a luxury and very rare. But, beside that, all the toppings were delicious. It comes with what seems like cashew, either zucchini or cucumber, tomatoes, onions, if I'm not mistaken I think that there were mushrooms too.
Only issue was that overall calzones were pretty dry. And I found myself adding relish to the calzone in order to make it wet enough to feel satisfied. You always want your pizza or calzone to have that semi-wet semi dry texture to it.
Otherwise everybody there was pleasant the food was okay.
