I first heard of Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs when I was about 4 or 5 years of age, and during that time the name for the chain of Goodcents that is currently served in 8 U.S. states was originally called “Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pasta”. The founder for the chain of Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs Joseph Bisogno, is the definition of an entrepreneur. Like a lot of kids he started out running a lemonade stand when he was six years old, but it didn’t stop there. By 18 he’d bought an ice cream truck, and later purchased a gas station. In 1989, Bisogno started Mr. Goodcents Subs & Pastas in Lenexa, Kansas after nearly 10 years of working at McDonald’s. The chain of Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs is committed to serving its customers the highest quality sandwich and meal every time customers visit, whether they are coming to see them or having food delivered to their home. Nowadays known as Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs, Joseph Bisogno’s vision lives on the franchise of sandwiches shop offering the service styles of dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and delivery.
The menu at Goodcents features soups, pastas, Goodcents-To-Go meals, cookies, different flavors of chips, and of course submarine sandwiches ranging from traditional turkey, ham and cheese or meatball, to specialties like the Penny Club sub, which features turkey, ham, and roast beef with cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and onions. There is also the Goodcents Original Sub which consists of ham, bologna, salami, and pepperoni with cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and onions, Whenever customers walk into any Goodcents location, it will b east to notice that the bread is baked twice in-store each day, which makes the bread taste and feel unbelievably soft on the customer’s taste buds. Because Goodcents knows that a lot of a good thing can be a great thing, some sandwiches from Goodcents can come as 16-inch sandwiches, which are the biggest size of sub for people that have huge appetites. If customers pair the sandwiches with meat that is sliced fresh to order, then it is a possibility that the customers will understand the reason why it makes good sense to eat at Goodcents. In other words, the subs at Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs are made and served with quality ingredients, and are also made the proper way. The cookies served at Goodcents are soft and gooey, and are also giant-sized like at a cookie shop. Goodcents’ cookies are known to make a delicious dessert or appetizer for the customers. There is also a wide variety of chips as a side dish, meaning that there are many different types and flavors of chips that come as a bag like at other traditional sandwich shops. There are two sandwiches that I have ordered are the Meatball sub and the Chicken Bacon Ranch sub. In my option both sadnwiches, always taste delicious because they are made with fresh ingredients that are also made in-store every single day.
If customers are looking for a sandwich shop that makes its submarine sandwiches with fresh and quality ingredients daily, I would recommend that Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs is that place to visit and eat at. The slogan for Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs is “Good Food Makes Goodcents”, which means that if a submarine sandwich from Goodcents is made with fresh and quality ingredients, customers will have a reason to visit and eat at Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs. The food at Goodcents is also part of the reason that the place has quality and...
Read moreI don’t know who out there in Kansas City actually reads reviews, but we just stopped by the Mr. Goodcents on Barry Road and got our usual one penny sub and a tuna sandwich. We have been eating there and that has been our favorite sandwich shop for over 15 years the new owners I guess one of the cut cost and actually cut the volume of meat and cheese and condiments in half. By the time I got to the last 3 inches of my sandwich, I opened it up and could not find one shred of tuna. The penny sub was as bad. I called them back. They told me they were very sorry. I told them that if they did not change that they would be out of business within six months, maybe less I know I will never go back there , we will be heading back to Jimmy John’s. 🤬 most of the reviews that are decent were written several months or a year ago when the old owners still were operating and doing a excellent job putting out a delicious sandwich, bye-bye, Goodcents🤮 I drive by Mr Good sense still on my way to different places and the last three times I have driven by there has not been a car in front of it at lunchtime they still don’t get it. People want a good sandwich for a good value they cut the ingredients, in the sandwiches and...
Read moreNot very happy with my recent visit. I don't come here a lot but when I do it's usually a good experience. This time the girl taking our rider and starting our sandwiches was more interested in taking in her ear piece to whoever she was talking too. We had to repeat our order a few times because she couldn't remember due to talking in her phone/earpiece. Then to top it off she called someone out to finish our sandwiches cause she was done. She would rather talk on her phone/ear piece. Poor kid didn't know what our orders were or nothing. This place has gone extremely down hill in customer service and I would start to fix it with the girl who would rather talk on her phone than help paying customers. Will...
