It was my first time eating here and tried it on Mother's Day. The food was ready when we got there, a decent amount of food for the price, the lady seemed to be the only one there, cooking and cashiering, she was nice, everything was good except the food. I ordered garlic chicken and I could barely find the little strings of chicken in the giant mass of green and red sweet peppers and onions, I never did taste, see or smell even a hint of garlic! Everything tasted oily. The crab rangoon tasted bizarre and also oily. Not greasy, oily, like a film. The chicken teriyaki was fat and grizzly and also oily. My mouth tasted and felt like I'd drank vegetable oil. My son has chicken and mushrooms and husband had sweet and sour chicken. Neither of them said a word, good or bad, both only ate about 1/3 of their food though. I think they didn't wanna complain on Mother's Day. I wanted to like it because it's quick, not too expensive, and the lady was nice but I threw 3/4 of my meal in the trash. 💔 I...
Read moreMy most favorite place to get take out. There are two tables to eat at if you really want to dine in. I've eaten Chinese from here for years. The owner recognizes my number, I'm here so often. My favorite dishes are pork and rice and beef and broccoli but my fiance always gets the general tso's. It's always hot and fresh as they don't have a buffet. The only dish I haven't loved is their lo mein, it always tastes a little burnt to me. The crab rangoon are your average, nothing special but certainly not bad by any means as I've read a few times. I get the literally every time I go, never had bad ones. I can't remember the dish that comes with pancakes and plum sauce but one order will feed two to three people, just order extra pancakes. It's delicious!!! The pancakes aren't what you think of when you hear the word, they're thin kind of papery dough wraps that you put filling in. Really hard to describe them. Anyhow, I love love love this place and couldn't stand to see the...
Read moreWe ordered takeout yesterday. It overall was NOT good! The cabbage rolls were old and tough and tasted horrible. THE Moo Shu Pork had hardly any meat in it and the pork that was in it tasted as if it were getting ready to turn bad or it was old to begin with. The Sha Cha Shrimps vegetables were overcooked as well as the Vegetables in the Chicken and Vegetables. We also ordered Hot and Sour soup which was good, however the Wonton soup we ordered the filling was gross. I rarely write reviews but after spending approximately $65 on the meal with the addition of a $5 tip to this sub par mea, l I feel others should beware of what they may be getting here at Nice Food It was not...
