A great game store with a good selection of popular games and a decent room with tables for playing games on.
Starting with the store part, they have a good selection of tabletop, collectible card, and miniature games but tends to be the more popular, currently trending, games. So if you're looking for a game thats currently popular you'll likely have no problem finding what you're looking for here. If its an older, less popular, or less well known game you might need to look elsewhere. Another positive is that they do have a section that has a lot of games for a younger, age 10 and under, audience that I rarely see in game stores. If you're looking for a game to play with some younger folk or a gift for them this also might be a great store to check out.
Table space for playing games is decent but also limited. Definitely not the biggest space and table count I've ever seen. Depending on the night you go there you may have a harder time finding a table.
Food options while you play are the standard sodas and water with some snack options in store. If your willing to leave the store there are several great places within walking distance and about anything you could want within a short drive.
As for the store staff, they are a friendly bunch and love to talk about games and game related things. This can occasionally cause them to fall into a deep discussion with someone to the point that they appear distracted or inattentive but if you approach them they will break conversation to help you. In short, don't be scared to say you need help and they will be more than happy to help you out.
At the end of the day, if your gaming tastes include playing the most popular or younger player games of today, or you need a place to sit down and play with a wide selection of restaurants within five minutes away Mission Games should be a great place for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhere do I start? Letās start with the girl that was working the front counter. The most disrespectful and condescending person iāve ever encountered in the TCG space. I enquired about the price of a raw single they had in their display case and she proceeds to scoff at my request. She then tells me a price that is 50 dollars over market according to TCGPlayer. When i show her on my phone that sheās 50 dollars over what TCG player has, she proceeds to condescendingly tell me that the price is the price and she doesnāt negotiate. So the only employee in the store is unable to strike any kind of agreement with you. When i asked about the prices of the some of the sealed product they have on the shelf, instead of telling me a price she tells me āthereās a sticker right on itā. mind you, the sticker is tiny and i can barely see from where iām standing. All of their sealed product was stickered 15-20 dollars above market price according to TCGplayer (which is what they use to price their stuff according to the girl that was working that day). Their shop had MAYBE 15 raw singles in the case on display for sale. This place is a pathetic excuse for a card shop and the miserable excuse for a human working that day should seriously reconsider her career choice and find something that makes her happy because working in the TCG space is clearly not for her. Avoid this place...

After several return visits, I must say the staff are much more attentive, helpful and courteous. They've increased their selection of games and it's nice to see more permanent shelving and fixtures. I must say I prefer the organization and display of the titles in this store over the Johnson Drive location. I feel there's more sense to the groupings and how they're presented on the shelves.
A visit to their moved northland location (re-located just down Prairie View Rd) left me underwhelmed. The one employee on duty didn't acknowledge my presence as he was too busy talking shop with two other gentleman. Came looking for two different games, but lost the sale when he was too busy talking 3d printers and competing FLGS in town. More space for sure in this new location, but that leaves the place looking empty with the little bit of stock they do have there. Hope for the best, as Northland gamers have been without a long-lived shop with decent selection for...
