The food was typical mid-range taco Bell. Not great, not bad tacos. If you are thinking that it doesn't matter it does. One of the 4 close to me makes the best everything I've ordered. But this TB is run of the mill.
The reason for the 2 stars is this:. This is one of the closest fast food options to World's of Fun and Oceans of Fun. And in that area, and adjacent to the TB are a few hotels that cater to the WoF/OoF out of town crowd. Essentially, from 1pm on, this place has serious traffic mood swings, going from gridlocked to empty to gridlocked within the same hour. This Taco Bell must have been designed before the days of high traffic, as it places it's drive thru right at the only exit that allows you to turn left (legally speaking as I'm sure you could turn left wherever the hell you wanted to) so during a crazy busy spurt of one car ordering one car in line, it is already at Max capacity. Any more and you are in that parking lot for the foreseeable future.
And lastly, about that foreseeable future. When I was there I waited in line for 40 minutes. I assumed the car in front of us had a huge order. After that car received the one $5 Box they ordered, I pulled up and sat for an additional 15 minutes. Our order was 4 taco Supremes and nacho fries. Fill up that staff if you want better reception from customers. But you have a sweet...

The building's outside lights are completely dead, making it look shut down, and it's been three months without any repair because the manager can't be bothered to call an electrician.
Over the last few months, toppings have been pathetically skimpy, like the employees were constantly on the last pan and too lazy to change it out. Anytime I tried to bring it up, the problem was denied, and I was charged extra just to get the regular amount of meat.
I tried to stop by last night after my shift ended, and the employee who answered the drive-through system first tried to tell me they were closed (they weren't), then changed his answer to "We're out of food. We were really busy today"
Not out of anything in particular, since I hadn't even ordered yet, just "food." They clearly wanted me gone, so I left.
Management is running this place into the ground. I've seen a store go down this way before, it's just a matter of time before corporate comes in and...
Read moreMy son and I came here yesterday evening after he got off work at Worlds of Fun at 6:30 pm. I put his order in at 6:45 pm and was stuck in the line for 50 minutes waiting for his food and you can't get out of line because once you're in the drive thru line your stuck there's no way to get out. Worst Taco Bell I've ever been too, longest wait ever for being "Fast Food". And this isn't the first time every time I visit this Taco Bell you spend at least 20 minutes in line. I will NOT be back and hope for other people's sake you close up. You all need to figure something out, I could have went to McDonald's in Claycomo, order his food, got his food, he could have eaten and had a shower in the time we waited yesterday in line at this Taco Bell. Not to mentioned when I finally made it to the window to pay I saw drinks sitting there made up for the five cars behind us that probably waited for an hour too. Terrible experience "Fast Food" isn't "Fast Food" anymore especially at this...
