24 February 2025 (Update - Update) Another fantastic visit to this Waffle House! The food was delicious and freshly cooked, and my waitress, Twila, was excellent. Even at 3:30 AM on 2/24/2025, she couldn’t have been nicer. I truly appreciate the superb customer service. I visit this Waffle House twice yearly when staying at the Embassy Suites, and it never disappoints. I’ll be back! v/r, Dr. K. King
9 July 2024 (Update) They nailed my food and visit. Perfect in everyday. What a way to start a early long day flying with a hot delicious breakfast.
Visited close to 5 am 10/8/2023. I am a traveller and Always eat at Waffle House when available. I ordered my hash brown very crispy, smothered, covered, chunked, and scattered. Told the waitress this twice. Of course, she equates this to crispy bacon when she repeats my order. Understand, I am the "Only Customer" in the resturant. When she transmitted the order to the cook, she did not say well done so I added "Well Done/Crispy" to the order and the cook acknowledges. Once the food was received, the hash brown's were mushy in the middle, orly crispy on the outside and clearly not scattered. Not a good breakfast at all; I ate the crispy part only. I made it work since I had a flight to catch and needed to keep moving. The workers need to listen to the customer. Appreciate the cook telling me I am lucky she just cleaned the grill and almost like I should worship her for doing it. I simply said, thanks for doing that. They are not there for the customers and talking about the bickering about the schedule and management, I think this is where they loss focus on the customer. I really do not want to hear someone should have been fired for what they said or did, not showing up to work, or other drama. I am trying to get my food cooked to my liking and not getting caught up in the Waffle House employee and management drama. Its just too early for all of this and please, come to work to work, not gossip. v/r,...
Read moreAt the Congress ave location. All the tables I didn’t have people in them were covered in dishes. They told us to wait until they clean the table for us. Several minutes went by as we watched workers stand around and do nothing and not clean our table off so me and my group went ahead and took a table. Martha asked us what you wanted to drink and asked if you’re ready to order. We told her we didn’t have any menus she went and got us menus, and then left never cleaning off the table. When she came back to takeout orders, I asked her if she could please clean off the table and she said that she would not because she asked us to wait. I asked her if she was expecting a tip and they kicked us out of the store. We left without any resistance and went to the parking lot to our cars. I proceeded to start writing this review they decided to go out of their way to come out and tell us that we were being a disturbance in the parking lot and that they had called the police. When we said that we would wait until the police arrived they just kept yelling obscenities at us until we got into our cars. I was respectful to them the entire time, even when they started the conflict and tried to continue it, even after we had left...
Read moreI love Waffle House, so this truly pains me to write this. But I came in here around 3:30 p.m. on a Friday, hoping to get a quick snack before a flight. I walked in and the restaurant was deserted, minus a few random travelers who seemed to come in just to use the bathroom and then leave. I kid you not, I sat at the corner for 10 minutes thinking someone would eventually appear, and no one did. It wasn’t even like I could hear people working in the back. Just silence. The egg basket was an ominous sign, considering they were supposed to be discarded at 3:10 p.m. and were still out there when I arrived. It truly looked as if everything just stopped in the middle of a shift. Nothing was clean, nothing was cooking. Just nothing. There was no sign or anything that said it was closed or takeout only or whatnot. I am truly just perplexed. I eventually just left since apparently no one is working? I hope all the workers are OK at least and didn’t get, like, abducted by aliens or something. I am sad I will not get my Waffle House fix before returning to my home with no locations. But this was super creepy. Never been to a Waffle House where people weren’t bustling behind the counter and calling you sweetheart. Just...
