Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Kansas

This store is an absolute joke! Went to pick up a DoorDash order and pull up to the drive thru and it says they are closed even though posted hours say they close at 10pm! Sat there and watched multiple employees box up at least $200 worth of food to take home! One of which was a chicken sandwich which was what our DoorDash pick up was! Finally knocked on the window and kid wearing headset for drive thru comes over and I tell him I’m there to pick up a DoorDash order so he asks for the name! He then tells me he’s gonna check on that! Next thing I know the what I assume was the manager on duty (very rude) manager comes over and tells me they are currently out of filets for the chicken sandwich so I said oh you mean like the one they just put in a box to take home? He then very rudely replies that they are boxing up what food they are taking home! Then he rudely tells me they are closed! I said than why does the sign say you close at 10pm? He then very rudely asks if the speaker stated they were closed! I said yes it did and he says rather rudely than we are closed! I said that I we will call corporate and he laughs and shuts the window and walks off! How long will this place stay in business when they don’t fulfill orders just so their employees can take home again at least...

The service is legitimately awful. I have Never left a negative review on an establishment nor ever felt a need to complain publicly. However, we waited at the drive through speaker for over seven minutes waiting to be told we could give our order. (Which happened to us last time we went to this Popeyes as well. So it’s an ongoing problem.)We spoke into the speaker a couple times as well to make sure they could tell we were there. After a while we figured it wasn’t working so we drove up to the first window Hoping to give our order there. After explaining the situation to one of the workers, he told us to pull back around because someone behind us had just ordered through the drive through. After we had already tried to do that. For over seven minutes. We were polite and drove around again. They took our order and then gave us our food.we didn’t end up checking it until we got home. We asked for two different sauces which we did not end up receiving. Honestly, the chicken isn’t really worth eating without sauce sorry. That along with the fact that the fries are chewy. Overall, not a good experience. They were rude before and after and obviously...

My family and I are staying at the Hilton just behind the Popeyes. We were excited to see something within a 30 second walking distance after a long day of driving. We walked over only to see a note on the front door saying their lobby was closed due to staffing shortage. As I stood there, with my bottom lip jutted out in disappointment, Chase walked up to the door and said he'd come out and talk to me which wasn't a duty he needed to do at all. 45 seconds later he was out front apologizing for being closed. He suggested I put in a mobile order and he'd make it for me and bring it out.

None of this was something I expected. Being short staffed is hard enough and then having to take care of random people standing there looking pitiful for some chicken is the last thing you should be worried about.

Nonetheless, we were fed and now we are happy. Also, could Ya'll send your staff to the Popeyes in Colorado to train our staff on how to make the food, specifically the one in Grand Junction, CO? I don't eat Popeyes often becuase our local store doesn't serve good food. This was a...
