First and foremost, the location of the Super 8 Motel was incredibly convenient. Situated just off the interstate, it made for easy access and a smooth check-in process, which is always a plus after a long day of traveling. I greatly appreciated not having to navigate through busy city streets to find the place.
Upon arriving, I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness of the motel. The lobby area was tidy and well-maintained, setting the tone for the rest of the stay. The room itself was spotless, indicating a high level of attention to detail by the housekeeping staff. It's always reassuring to find a clean and welcoming accommodation.
The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the beds. Oh, the beds! They were incredibly comfortable and provided a blissful night's sleep. After a tiring journey, sinking into those fluffy pillows and cozying up under the soft sheets was a true treat. I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day, all thanks to the wonderful sleep experience provided by the Super 8 Motel.
However, it wasn't just the physical aspects of the motel that impressed me; it was the staff's outstanding service that made my stay even more enjoyable. The entire team was remarkably polite and attentive, always ready to assist with any request or inquiry. Their warm and friendly demeanor made me feel genuinely welcomed and valued as a guest.
Furthermore, the overall atmosphere of the Super 8 Motel was delightful. It was clear that the management and staff take great pride in providing a positive experience for their guests. From the cheerful greetings at the front desk to the inviting common areas, everything contributed to a pleasant and enjoyable stay.
In conclusion, I can wholeheartedly recommend Super 8 Motel by Wyndham in Hayes, Kansas, to anyone looking for a convenient, clean, and comfortable accommodation. With its prime location just off the interstate, pristine rooms, unbelievably comfortable beds, and remarkably polite staff, this motel is a true winner in my book. Read moreTo be honest, our stay was what I think is typical for a Super 8, but this one was the older room design compared to many. With tax, the room was just over $80, so that was good. The room was nice and clean, but very small, and with a typically sized bathroom. This location couldn't be closer to I-70, so I imagine the interstate noise could be heard from the northernmost rooms. On the southwest side where we were, we heard noise from Vine street outside. Ordinarily, you can turn the A/C fan to be always on and mask that noise, but here we couldn't. Even with the A/C turned down to 64°, the fan still cycled and the room temp also cycled through the night, making my sleep somewhat fitful. It wasn't because of the bed though, because I found that to be very comfortable. On the first floor, we could also hear the foot traffic above us. There were no operable ice machines in the hotel, which was disappointing since we had drinks in the room fridge you would normally use ice with. Breakfast was included in the price, but we didn't try it. Being a Wyndham Gold member, we were allowed a 1pm checkout at no extra cost, which we really appreciated since we had a morning funeral to attend. It allowed us to change into traveling clothes before leaving town, and still check-out by 12:30. I would still stay here again, but would bring a fan for some background noise and constant air circulation in the room. The desk service was great, and parking was plentiful. I didn't know if there was an elevator for the upper floors, but I didn't see or use one in my...
Read moreIt is what it is and that's a budget hotel in a small town. The price was good. The room and hotel is dated. The AC unit put out a musty smell which means it needs cleaned or serviced. It's a smell that it definitely could mess with some people's allergies. But you need the ac to run to block out the traffic noise.
Room came with a nice TV, a little desk and chair, microwave, small dresss and small refrigerator. The set up reminds me of a hotel construction crew memeber stay in. Bed was hard but not worn out or saggy. Lots of pillows which I appreciated.
What I didn't like but really isn't the hotel fault. First, The traffic noise. Being right beside two, what looks like new, round abouts, there's a surprising amount of traffic and s lot of people gunning it thru. After driving around it a couple tiems, im not sure people are quire used to how to use a round about. And every vehicle is a super loud pickup truck. Second, noisey other customers. Come on peoole, let's not hold convos in the hallway and let the doors swing shut. We all complain about it when we say paper thing walls so be aware of your surroundings. Didkt noitce a lot of room to room noise but i think the hotel was empty. Also, if you smoke and your outside, good for you, but be aware you are probably outside someone's window so let's not have angry loud convos at 11pm.
All in all, not a bad stay. Probably won't be thru this area again but if I am I'd probably try one of the othe budget hotels near by. You won't...
