Hands down 0 star rating from this family. My family and I placed a call in order last night (9-15-18) for the first time. we were told it would be 10 minutes. With absolutely no complaint we rushed out the door to make sure we were there on time (pulled up 1 minute early). They were fairly busy when we arrived so we expected it to take a couple minutes longer than normal. My boyfriend stood at the front register counter for 45 minutes being walked around and ignored. Mind you he is standing at the end of the counter with money in his hand and each waitress has to physical move around him to cash out orders (which they did MULTIPLE times). One of which found it more important to walk back around him (Completly ignoring his existence yet again) to go collect a tip off of a table that was not hers. After 45 minutes of standing there watching the MANAGER pick up the ringing phone and hang up on customers (literally, phone rings, he would pick it up off the hook and slam it back down just hanging up on whoever was on the other end) just trying to get someone to notice him he finally got a waitress to walk up to him (dripping with attitude and flat out rude) and ask "do you need something or what?" to which he responds with "I have just been trying to pick up my call in order". He gets sighs and huffs like it's a travisty for her to handle our order but walks away and returns with our 2 bags of food. Upon cashing him out on our $34 order he hands her two $20 bills and she again with all her amazing attitude asks him "do you even want your change?" I'm sorry but that is just rude. He replied "well yes" and was given our change. Upon getting home with our food (finally) and and opening bags we discover 1. All of our food is ice cold and gross. 2. The order was wrong (one of the entries was made Completly wrong) and 3. We were missing parts of meals. This concluded to us that the kitchen rushed through our order to get it over with to just sit, the weight staff Completly dropped the ball on our order and upon realizing this had not a single care about it or felt any remorse or need to make it right. We then call up to the restaurant we discover the hanging up on customers thing is STILL happening so we have no choice but to continue to call over and over and over until someone FINALLY answers and says something. Upon asking for a manager we are told he's too busy waiting tables and seating people what can I help you with? So we start explaining and she then puts us on hold (because of course this is something for the manager) he gets on the phone, is rude, short, and flat out could not care less about the problems we are having. After being told we are contacting corporate he then offers a refund for us to come back and pick up. We agree and get back in the vehicle and drive back to the store. It took 5 minutes for someone to even come to the front and even try to seat us when we show up (the restaurant is half empty by this time and their "crazy rush" is clearly over) to which I tell her I need the manager and again get told he's too busy. At this point I am furious and explain to her we are there to pick up a refund and she says she will go get him and be right back. Skip forward another 10 minutes of sitting there waiting, having customers just turn around and walk out because they are tired of waiting for someone to seat them, the manager finally comes to the front gives us our refund and the entire nightmare was over. I had an hour and a half of my night waisted over laziness and some of the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced. Myself nor ANY member of my family with be returning to this establishment unless they make some SERIOUS business decisions about new management and weight staff. Read moreFirst time I got food here, I just ordered it to go. Unfortunately I didn't check my order before leaving and they forgot my side order of pancakes. The rest of my order was perfect. I was able to forgive the oversight of my side because the girl who was assisting me was running around all over the store helping customers. I saw other employees, of course, but she was the only one moving with a purpose and never just stood around. Second time, I called my order in ahead of time. The young man took my order, gave me a total price due when I pick up and gave me a time frame when it would be ready. He spoke so quickly that he never asked for my name and hung up before I ever had a chance to give it to him. When I showed up to pick up, the hostess asked the name for the order and I explained it was never asked for. I watched every employee ask each other about a phone order with no name and everyone just shook their head. Eventually a young man, a waiter, came to the front register and asked what my order was. Turns out, he took the phone order and my order was ready to go, sitting at the front register before I ever walked in. Read moreFirst cup of water tasted fine second cup took a sip and that was it tasted like dish water or like they been dumping people's drinks all in one picture and refilled it out of it, food mediocre at best not even average quality really, we were seated by the kitchen and had the displeasure of about half way through our meal hearing the cooks and servers talking about spitting in someone's food immediately stopped looked ours over real good and decided we were safe maybe it was a joke so we ate fast to get the heck out of here, then as we were finishing we hear gagging noises coming from kitchen and more talk or spitting. All I can say is the help here needs replaced, pretty sure its an everyday thing that does happen and is going on at the This place and they had a manager on named Austin who had to know he was just walking around talking to the employees like he was trying to be the coolest friend manager ever but could give a damn less about his job. Never again will I eat at Hays KS Ihop however ive been told Pheasant Run in Hays is very good so I will definitely try there next time.
