Best quality and value for hundreds of miles. Meagan and Sam, and other staff (whose names I wish we could recall!), provided the very best service, with a smile and without hesitation. We stayed here a few years ago on the last leg of a return trip from Seattle, and were so pleased that we did. We were wrung-out, but the super-comfortable accommodations, on-site bar and restaurant, friendly staff, and dog-friendliness instantly eased our stress. Fast forward and I'm now dependent on a wheelchair after a climbing fall. The bed height was critical to staying here (anywhere) and the label of "accessible" isn't a universal guarantee. But Sam willingly measured the bed height and marked the specific room on our reservation so we could rely on it . Meagan pleasantly handled my follow-up calls to confirm the room. And when we arrived and recognized it from our prior trip, it was the next best thing to coming home. Dog bowl right next to the front door, open and attractive bar/restaurant area, friendly front desk attendant, and the most attractive and comfortable "accessible" room we've seen in a year. Dinner on the attractive patio was well-above the quality you'd expect from such an economical hotel. Braised short ribs and street tacos are recommended! Pleasant convo with fellow travelers on the patio, was an unexpected bonus. And of course, in-room coffee plus eggs and crispy bacon for brekkie got us off to a great start. We are very much looking forward to staying here on our return and future trips!!

Stained sheets, heavy barn door that was off track, and you can hear every footstep of the room above you. The heavy barn door they used for the bathroom didn’t slide all the way shut. It bumps into the floor when it’s about 90% closed. When you do push it all the way closed, it pushes the entire door up and off the track above you. This caused the entire heavy door to FALL ONTO MY WIFE! We were very lucky she was able to somewhat catch it. It could have easily fallen on one of my kids, and it’s so heavy it could have been disastrous. Truly a scary moment for us. In addition to this, you have to line it up on the guide on the floor every time (lots of fun in the dark). Even when you do, and push it closed, you can see into the bathroom through a large gap between the door and the wall. On top of that, you can see the stains on the sheets and pillowcases in the pictures. Disgusting. And we could very clearly hear every footstep of the people in the room above us all night. Just seemed like cheap construction with very thin floors. I informed the front desk manager about these issues when we left. She took my name and phone number, but we haven’t heard anything. Overall, a pretty terrible experience. Expensive, dirty, DANGEROUS, and loud. Go somewhere else.

So everything was great, except for the location. It's located at the end of a long street where you can only go right, which is fine, the noise is low. BUT, from the hwy, you have to go down the middle of town, which has 3 weird, annoying, confusing round abouts that aren't normal round abouts. I had to figure out a different way to come back from another place just to avoid these because they are very annoying. BUT, other than that, the service was great, and the amenities are abound and beautiful. The bar, restaurant, and a little store with snacks are right there in the lobby. The rooms are spacious, clean, and gorgeous. The beds are SO comfy. I loved having the APP check-in and out and digital keys. Everything is very easy to navigate as well. They are also dog friendly! Which I love. There is a $50 pet fee, a place behind the building for them to potty and stretch. A little bowl of water by the front door, which is super cute. I would definitely bring my dog here. They seem to truly accept dogs, not just tolerate them. Which I have found with other hotels that say they 'accept pets'.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Hays in Kansas during my road trip to Texas and had an amazing experience! Right off the bat, I noticed how clean and welcoming the place was. It felt like walking into a modern home with a touch of elegance.

The rooms were super cozy and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the furnishings were stylish yet practical. You could tell that they put a lot of thought into making the space feel like home.

What made the stay even better were the wonderful people working there. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. They really went out of their way to make sure my stay was enjoyable.

I also had a chance to dine at their on-site restaurant, and let me tell you, it was top-notch! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the food was simply delicious. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The chefs clearly know their way around the kitchen!

As someone who loves staying active while on the road, I truly appreciated the 24-hour gym. It had all the equipment I needed to keep up with my workouts, no matter what time of day or night.

In short, if you're looking for a welcoming and comfortable place to stay while passing through Hays, I highly recommend the Hilton Hays. With its great location, friendly staff, yummy food, and fantastic amenities, you'll have a hard time finding a better spot to rest and recharge. Two...

My family and I are traveling across country and have stayed at Hilton locations across 13 states, so far. We’ve stayed at many Hilton Garden Inn locations. The hotel is new and clean. The staff was friendly. Breakfast is not included with your room. We were not told this at the time of booking. We booked through Hilton. This Hilton Location offers continental breakfast for $10 per person. Or you can order a breakfast from their in house restaurant. This is the first Hilton Garden Inn that we have stayed at that charges guests for continental breakfast. They have the same continental breakfast options as the other Hiltons we’ve stayed at. This should have been disclosed at the time of booking. Unfortunately, our neighboring guest had a barking dog. The dog barked through the night and early morning hours. We contacted the front desk, and we’re assured they would contact the occupant of the room. The dog continues barking. The owner had left it alone for some time in the room. We contacted the front desk a second time and they told us they had spoken to the guest again. The dog continued to bark. Our family ended up checking out early, before 7 am. Overall, a clean facility, friendly staff. Continental Breakfast should be included with the room. People with animals should be on a first floor level and not next to families with...
