I bought a full couch and 2 love seats several years ago. Waited several months for it to be delivered all pre-covid. The couch has power reclining headrests and one of the headrest quit working in the full forward position couldn't be sat out at all. It had also become very uncomfortable to sit in, but still useable. All of this within the first few months of ownership. I contacted them as it was still under warranty. Several months and MANY MANY calls later, they finally came out to diagnose. They found a cable that had got disconnected and looked at the couch after i shared my concern with you becoming uncomfortable. They found a broken spring in the back. The service guys were very nice and ordered a whole new back since it too was under warranty. Covid hit, and parts were delayed, I understood. Waited patiently for 1 year. Contacted them and to my surprise, I'm still in their queue and as soon as the past comes in I'll be contacted. Another 6 months go by, still no calls. I called again and still no replacement part, but was assured they'll re-order and honor my warranty claim! Great let's get it done, I'd like to have a comfortable spot to sit on. Another 6 months, still no call from them. I called, talked to Brady and he apologized, they have just been swamped and I was overlooked, but he remembered my claim and thinks he even saw my headrest in the parts stage and wondered where it went. He promised they will get this fixed ASAP. A few more months go by, still no call and the my power headset quit working on the same seat back. I called again to see if this new seat back will be coming with a power headrest or of this is something that they need to order and fix when they replace the original broken spring. Brady said since I've been so patient, they figure out how to cover this repair to me at no cost, but would need to order that part. Awesome! Let's make it happen, call me when it's in and I'll bring the couch to you (I live 140 miles from Hays, but was some waiting on them to come to me). I was trying to compromise. That was over 1 year ago. I've called so many times, left so many messages and I have NEVER received a call back from them. I have initiated EVERY SINGLE CALL. This is not who you want to do business with people. There are lots of furniture places in the state. Use one of them. I would have posted a review sooner, but was hopeful they were going to fix my couch. I no longer care about my couch, but I do care about everyone else's couch or furniture that may need repaired during your ownership They will make lots of empty promises and get offended if you ask "what lie are you going to tell me today?", when you call them out IF you ever get someone to take your call. Worst business dealing I have had in my...
Read moreThis place has been so rude and unprofessional to my elderly parents. They have a lift chair, they bought from this store, that needed a mechanism changed for the lift to work again. At first they assured them they could do it on their own by removing two clips and clipping it back in. Far from reality. They would need to take the fabric off and remove several pieces to replace the mechanism. So they took the chair to the store, living 30 miles away. My parents wre told it would only take an hour to replace and they would call them in the next couple of weeks. It’s been several months. My dad called to talk with them about when it would be done. They said, basically, they were busy and not in a hurry. The lady on the phone then laughed at my elderly dad after he told her how rude she was being to him. My parents went and bought new furniture at a different store. As long as I can remember this place has always been rude to people. The woman had always so rude to people and she has the attitude that she is better than everyone. They went there because Wolf’s carried Millers of Claflin furniture and they are not a chain store. They have bought several sets of chairs from them for these reasons. This will not happen again. And looking at the percentage of who would recommend the store to people, the owner, Preston Wolf, doesn’t...
Read moreI went in there with my fiancé and we chose a couch on a Saturday. When we talked with the owner about buying it he said another customer had just purchased it and that he would let us know about it’s availability on Monday. He never called us back, we called on Tuesday and he gave us some line about not hearing back from the supplier. We just went into the store again today (one week later) and the owner saw us and avoided us. The couch we picked was still there and when we talked with another sales rep he said the owner told him that it’s only sold as a set with the loveseat and refused to sell only the couch. If the owner had told us this last week we would have been upset over it. Instead he lied to us and made another sales rep deal with us when we returned unsatisfied. Pretty scummy...
