I gave 4 stars because I feel like they're overly priced although the food is amazing. They're not open on Sunday morning, which sucked considering we were headed to a Sunday football party and wanted to order food for the party, which worked out ok since El Dos was open and ready for anything. So if you're reading this and looking for somewhere else to go, do go to El Dos. Aside from all that, this place does have great service when they're open, however I wouldn't get the Mac n cheese bowl ever again because for 8.99 you got mostly macaroni and a small portion of whatever meat is supposed to be on it. And I probably wouldn't order chopped brisket again because they don't cut all the fat off of it. Their shredded brisket is the way to go. All of their stackers are perfect! First time trying this place as we were in town to visit the Sternberg Museum. We were impressed with both the food and service. Great barbecue joint, with lots of options for adults and kids. No fried food meant no french fries, but the kids were happy with the selection of potato chips instead. Loved their original BBQ sauce; it reminded me of Head Country's sauce. The servers were SUPER friendly. After we went through the line and got our food, they came over to our table several times to make sure everything was satisfactory, then to see if they could help get trays out of our way, then again to offer boxes for leftover food. I would like to just let everyone know that you have just gotta try this place. It is simply put AMAZING. The smell right when you walk in gets the senses going and when the food arrives the pleasure continues. The customer service is just as awesome as the food. The crew was very polite and happy. But being a first time visitor we were a little lost and curious and I was so pleased, when the manager on shift Desiree came right to us and offered suggestions and answers to all our questions. She ever returned to us later at our table to check one last time to make sure we were satisfied. It is clear to see why the staff is so happy and enjoyable led by management like that.
