We have ordered to-go from here multiple times. Some times are better than others, but nearly every time we are missing an item or a dish is made incorrectly. I work in a restaurant and understand how things go, but it's time to write the review they deserve. Tonight we decided to give it another go because my boyfriend really likes the pizza. We should have picked somewhere else to spend our money. We ordered online at 6:45pm. The Online confirmation confirmed the order would be ready for pick up at 7:05pm. We arrived on time, and waited until 7:30 to leave with our food. Wasted 25 minutes of our time with hungry children. The host finally brought it out, and said multiple times he had checked the order and everything was there. Should have double checked, but after an extra 25 minutes of waiting we couldn't imagine how they could forget anything. We got home and sat down with our children to eat and, unsurprisingly , our son's Spaghetti kids meal was missing. Awesome. All the food that is supposed to be warm was cold. The children's sides of yogurt were stacked on top of the once warm pizza box and were hot by the time we finally got around to eating. Chicken chopped salad was missing the tomato and avocado with relatively no chicken. They couldn't be bothered to put in the ranch we ordered for our daughter's chicken tenders. So we decided for the first time to call and ask about the missing spaghetti because our son was set on eating it for dinner, and really, it's just getting old and annoying to deal with every single time. We called to ask what could be done, and they said it would be another 15 minutes on top of the already 45 minute wait for our other food if we wanted to come get. For noodles and tomato sauce. No other alternatives given. Anyways, went back to grab it on the other side of town. You would think SOMEONE, or at least a manager, would be polite enough to acknowledge the hassle the whole order and pick up was. Nah, no "we are sorry". Not a word said about the terrible food and service we paid 50 dollars to receive. No asking if there was anything they could do to provide better service. Really classy. 50 dollars plus an extra 5 bucks for gas it took to drive across town 4 times. I would stay away from this...
Read moreVery disappointed this evening. ☹️. We were there to have an early valentine's date. We got there at 9:35p.m. We specifically asked the hostess what time they closed & if we had time to order & eat. She said 11 and yes, come on in. She was very welcoming. When we sat down we asked our waiter if there were any specials and he points to the table & said maybe this.
My husband and I both ordered the chicken carbonara. and Italian rolls for an appetizer. The appetizer came AFTER our entrees. We got chicken soup with spaghetti noodles. The sauce was so runny, you had to wait for it to stop dripping before we could get a bite. I asked our waiter if the sauce was supposed to be so soupy. His reply was to shrug his shoulders and say he's never had it. He never offered to go find out or ask the manager or tell her we had questions.
Speaking of our Our waiter, I'll call him "D" needs some serious re training. He came back twice. Offered my husband a refill on his pop, but didn't offer me more tea. Which was half full. He was terse the whole time. Not welcoming at all. The second time he came back he simply stated "You want your check now??" Didn't ask how our meal was, nor did he ask us if we wanted dessert. Didn't ask us if we wanted to go drinks. We'd actually planned on ordering dessert but instead paid & left. Btw Never ordering that again!
While we were waiting for our meal, we listened as the hostess was trying to seat people and the wait staff were arguing over who was going to take the table. The manager never stopped by our table.
There was one waiter we saw named "LT" he was very kind at his tables and was working very hard to check on and serve his tables. When they were arguing about tables he offered to take the table. We wish he would have...
Read moreSo, this is the second time eating here. I come from out of state to visit my dad. The first time was when they first opened and were still working out the kinks. Today, however, was interesting. There were not alot of customers but the hostess told us it would be about a 10 minute wait? No problem so my dad and I went to the bar for a drink. 30 minutes later the bartender asked if we would like another drink. I told her we were suppose to get a booth 20 minutes ago. She went to check on that. Apparently something went awry with the "technology" and our "reservation" (but many open tables) was not saved? Haha OK. Well, also while we were waiting, there was a male bartender with our bartender and he was encouraging her to take a drink of whatever was in the glass that she picked up to drink. Uhm, ok, this is a family restaurant, not a some hip bar that is open til 2 am. We spent close to 3 hours in this Old Chicago. For as few customers that were there and for what the service we received was...really was not worth the $30 I spent on the pizza alone. The waitress was nice but that certainly did not make up for the time wasted waiting, bartender drinking in front of customers (or at least me) and the time it took to get our food. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY suggest that your corporate management get this place on track ASAP or it will be a thing...
