Verizon — Local services in Hays

My family has been loyal Verizon customers for generations. Like longer than I’ve even been alive. Today my grandma went into this store for help with her iPhone. Instead of offering real assistance, the employee insisted she needed a brand-new phone and claimed nothing else could be done.

Thankfully, my mom had her go to the other Verizon location in town. There, an employee simply performed a reset and the phone worked perfectly again. No new phone needed. (We had already walked her through that step over the phone and assumed she had completed it, but sometimes distance makes troubleshooting tricky I live a few hours away.)

This store clearly isn’t focused on helping customers—it’s focused on upselling, even at the expense of elderly customers who just need a little guidance. I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone… not even the telemarketer who keeps calling about my car’s...

I was in this Verizon store today and the minute I walked in the door The man behind the counter had an attitude he was extremely rude would not even look at my phone told me he works on commission and wasn't able to help me unless I gave him $40 cash he wouldn't put it on my bill he was extremely rude I would never recommend this Verizon store I've always liked Verizon I've always used Verizon and I only wish I would have gotten his name. I upgraded to a Samsung S23 and an unlimited data plan. Switched my account to a Verizon business account. Added a protection plan which I had canceled on my previous phone. All said and done, my monthly payment will be less than $10 more for an improved service plan, phone protection, and new phone payment compared to just the limited data plan only that I was paying. The gentlemen at the store were very knowledgeable, efficient and helpful. The store was quite busy today, but they kept things moving very well. Service was exceptional and the deal was a pleasant and greatly appreciated surprise. Not a bad day...
