Let’s start by saying the service was good and the staff was friendly. Atmosphere was great too. The place was clean which is wonderful.

Now for the crawfish! The flavor was good but the crawfish was small as hell! I called in asking how much it was per pound. It was 10.99 and I was ok with it. My second question was if they had live crawfish. They said yes. So I came in and ordered 5 pounds. The crawfish came out and they were small as hell! Some of the crawfish meat was very soggy and broke apart easily which I have doubts that it was fresh. I asked the manager if she is sure that it was live crawfish cause they are super small and some of the meat was soggy. She said yes it was. I told her I saw on their Facebook page they had jumbo crawfish. She said it was only for one week and ever since it has been small. A gentleman who I assume is the owner said the same and explained a little further as to why it is small and why only there was one week of jumbo crawfish. Although I understood, my experience was still not pleasant. Wish they told me that the live crawfish is small so I can decide for myself weather or not to order that. I could order something else since there is many other options. None of this was told to me. Maybe it was also my fault that I didn’t ask but don’t think that was a natural question I would ask since there is a general size in my mind if they say Live! Oh well. I usually get crawfish to go during crawfish season it was always good. Today I dined in with a family member during lunch time on a weekday so it wasn’t busy at all should’ve been a great experience but it wasn’t!!! I was very disappointed in the lack of attention that was paid to us and the shrimp, oysters and fries nasty and unseasoned!!!! Crab legs weren’t bad. Service started out ok butwent downhill fast!!! right Right away drink orders were not complete and they were not busy so should’ve been very easy to remember a side of lemons. After our orders were taken, we were forgotten all intensive purposes forgotten. I had to get up twice walk to the front to get help, because no one came to check on us!! First time I had to get up tgere were several server ladies in the bar area chatting and laughing with 1 customer that was there, it was just 1 customer!! Ourwaitress was left to attend to customers at the front! I was waving my hands asking for help, nothing I went to the front to get a new drink because a fly flew in mines. 2nd time I went to the front was to ask for the ticket because as I looked around no one was seen, at the bar, counter anywhere. They were all sitting having lunch and talking while we were left on our own!!! Just awful!! How can all the staff be sitting down eating together when you have a customer!!??? I just left here and had to hop on and give them a review. We chose here over Kickin. To be fair I’ve never been to either to be fair but honestly I don’t think I want to go to Kickin. The atmosphere is chill and the staff is friendly and nice. We got the stuffed crab as an appetizer. It’s a crab fried in a corn meal breading, corn meal stuffing with crab and Cajun spices. It was pretty good and I’d never had anything like it. Paired deliciously with the tartar sauce. But the real reason for my review! I got the seafood boil and I was not disappointed in the slightest! REAL INGREDIENTS. Not just a bag of butter and powdered seasoning but actual onion, garlic, lemon etc. I got the snow cluster and headless shrimp. Sooooooooo flipping good. I left with a huge smile on my face and a full tummy. Headless shrimp are an extra charge 2.49 as well as the corn .89 and potato .65. BUT with how everything was cooked, well worth it. The corn cooked to perfection JUICY! Potatoes, firm but soft and fully cooked! I will be returning and suggest you bring you friends and family here as well or a date whatever just go.
