My daughter and I entered the restaurant around 10:30pm. Understandably, they were cleaning and closing down. We walked to the order area, where an older gentleman wearing glasses and a black cap, was on his cell phone. He didn't verbally greet us, but he did give us a head nod. I was later told that he was one of the managers. A young lady approached us and greeted us, asking how we were doing and what she could get started for us. Her approach was a huge difference from the gentleman speaking on his phone. She offered a proper greeting and was very friendly. I began to place my 3 orders with her, as he did not attempt to assist her with preparing our orders. I asked for a Quesadilla for my daughter, but the young lady informed me that they only made the kids meal quesadillas in house, and that I must order online, if I wanted a regular quesadilla. I was a little shocked, because I had ordered a quesadilla in store before, but it didn't bother me. I just politely asked if there was any way for them to make an exception for us? Just to see if they could. The young lady looked to the older gentleman for approval, but he didn't say anything, as if he couldn't be bothered with us. After a few moments of silence, I asked, "is that a no?" He rudely rolled his eyes, shook his head, said "no" and walked to the back. The young lady apologized on his behalf and stated that was the store policy. My question is, why couldn't he have exercised a bit of patience and explained the same way she did? The eye roll and his storming off to the back was totally uncalled for. I was in no was being rude or unruly, and did not deserve to be dismissed as if we were undeserving children who were unworthy of his service. Normally, I would walk out because I do not tolerate poor customer service, especially spending my hard earned money with any establishment. But I completed the order because the young lady making our food was very nice, and did nothing to warrant me leaving her to have to clean up an unfinished order because of her rude coworker's bad attitude. I asked his name because I intended to report this matter to the feedback department. I asked the young lady if he was the manager, and she stated that they both were managers. I asked his name, and she told me his name was "John" ... I don't know if that is true or not. I used to work in food service, so I understand trying to protect your teammates. But, the name on my receipt says "Homero" ... I am not sure who that is, as a young African American woman helped us that evening. I'm not trying to cost anyone their job, as no one deserves that in this economy. I simply ask that you incorporate customer service training l, even at the managerial level, so that the entire time offers a consistent friendly experience to everyone, just as the young lady did for us. I sent my feedback to Chipotle already, but their response was not satisfactory. They simply reiterated that they leave the stores in charge of what they put on the menu. That's fine, what about the poor service and bad attitude I received from "John"? The only reason I didn't give this store a 1 star was because the young African American lady gave great service, and prepared my other orders quickly and accurately. She did very well, and "John" should take a page out of her book when dealing...
Read moreThe crappiest of all Chipotles amongst them all. This one takes the number one spot for being the worst. Specially the so called “manager” or “supervisor” Jose Murillo, which I doubt he was, probably just a disgruntled employee who hates his job along with his partner, which I can’t remember her name because she’s that irrelevant. Anyways. Been coming here just because it’s convenient and placing my regular order as always with no fuzz. However this man decided to take it upon himself to LITERALLY SKIMP me on a side of steak. I’m not cheap, probably make more than he ever will do or does, however the point is, he tried to give me leftover steak pieces. When I complained and I said that is was too little and I been coming here and getting my order the same way I always do, he said he’s the one in charge, and I obviously was shocked about it and tried to explain and argue about it, how it made no sense. This guy decided to take it upon himself to try to KICK ME OUT and deny me service for supposedly insulting them?? Hello? The only thing I said was; “what the hell?” As he was skimping me over, guess he must be too soft for him to feel offended about such comment. He then refused to ignore me and continue to tell me to get out of the store. Little did he probably know, all of this was recorded thru my smart glasses :) and will be taking action for discrimination and harassment as he literally just decided to make a big fuzz and pick a fight about it. Chipotle do better and hire better employees...
Read moreEdited: 7 months later and this location is still as bad as ever. The girl working the Chipotlane with long synthetic red braids is extremely rude with no customer service skills. I finally returned to this location today and they finally got my order correct, but when I opened the bag there was no fork and no napkins. How am I supposed to eat a bowl without silverware?
Sadly, the majority of the workers are a very accurate depiction of too many teenagers/young adults’ work ethic these days. I’m saying this as a teacher.
I’m a big Chipotle fan and this is the worst one ever. The employees don’t want to work (but that seems very common these days). As mentioned previously, the workers will tell you that they’re out of certain items because they can’t be bothered to make more. The food is very inconsistent as some of the chicken I’ve had here has been so salty, burritos are often lazily thrown together and when I unwrap the foil they fall apart and are drenched in the sauces. The “Chipotlane” is slow and ineffective. I’ve ordered through the Chipotlane and when I’ve received my food it’s been cold, and the other times the line has been so long that I just park and pick it up inside. There’s no quality assurance here at all. I’ve been here many times because it’s new and the closest one to my home, but I’ll be driving farther to the next location the next time I...
