PINCHO Burgers and Kebabs — Restaurant in Katy

Second visit. This time, Pincho Chipotle Bowl with chicken. What a surprise. Excellent composition of color, flavors and textures. My only suggestion would be to change jalapeños to pickled jalapeños. And of course I added the Cajun fries. Addictive and delicious. Great mid-day meal. Enjoy!

My first time visit to Katy, Texas location. Nice and clean. Food was good. Had Pincho Burger with cheese and everything else. Fresh ingredients. Nice green lettuce. Added Cajun Fries. Nice spicy bite seasoning. Meat patty was thicker than Whataburger but not as thick as a Whiskey Cake Hamburger.

Was it worth it? I have 5 Hamburger joints closer to me that I only regularly visit one of them. And that 1 brand, I visit 4 of their restaurants on occasion.

Would I visit here again? Good question given the other options. Probably. Yes. Place was empty when I arrived. 5 other customers came and went while I dined in.

Seating capacity of 40. Eatery next door was packed. This location is new. Hope they can last for 5 years. Give them a visit. They are advertising heavily on social media. They seem to have a little confusion (or perhaps just extreme caution?) about what is or isn't gluten free. This is not uncommon, most places will tell you it's NOT safe instead of telling you they don't know. But after some discussion they let me see the suspect container and there were no gluten containing ingredients in it. If this was their biggest confusion/holdup much of the menu items should be gluten free, but they do not mark which items are or are not on the menu, nor do they have a separate list you can look at. The fries should be gluten free is what they told me (I didn't have any yet) and they have a gluten free bun, so those are pretty big plusses. The burger was ok, with cheese and the aioli is OK as well. As a follow up I did try the fries with Cajun seasoning and the fried plantain "bun" and it was very good. My son and I were excited to try the burgers as we were starving after a rough few days. We are plain folks who literally just want meat, bun, and myself with cheese. Easy, right? We placed our order at 8:07 and didn't get our food until 8:45. This is only after I got the servers' attention to inquire about our order. No one bothered to check as our number was visible. Four groups of people got their food before us, even though they arrived after. They were not super busy. When they brought our food, they forgot the cheese on my burger. My son's burger was so greasy it "melted" the bottom bun (see pic), and the bacon was chopped up and also greasy. My burger looked like they just nuked it in the microwave to melt the cheese they added. The burger was lukewarm at best and very pink (see pic).
