Freebirds World Burrito — Restaurant in Katy

Updated the rating to 5 stars as the past 2 trips in person have exceeded my expectation. Since the issue I had with the size of the tacos in the DoorDash delivery as observed in my rant below, I went in person to see if this would still be the case. One person in line told me he heard from a friend that the owner informed the workers to ensure the portions are done appropriately. Today is my second trip to this location since my original post and twice the portions have been GREAT and so wanted to update my ratings positively to reflect my experience in my last two orders here. Workers were also very friendly to the customers and fellow co-workers. Positive vibes overall and thank YOU!

Original review post......... Ordered via DoorDash and I wondered why my bag was so light. I thought they were missing some tacos or burrito but all was there. It was just that the portion size was soooooo small. I barely felt the weight of a taco in my hand. VERY UNHAPPY to spend $36 for barely any food. the potatoes were COLD the rice and steak were COLD every part of the buritto was bland and flavorless i saw a man place fresh steak over the container of old steak..

so weird how COLD my burrito was as soon as i sat down to eat it in the restaurant. at least it was a full portioned burrito. its a good thing i was very hungry because i just swallowed it for survival. hopefully management sees this review and makes changes that allows the food to be hot when...

Tried first time here this afternoon. Since first step the experience wasn’t pleasant. The lady didn’t pay attention to what we requested. The rice appeared to be dry as if has been sitting for long. When asked, she said - “it’s cilantro rice baby”. I am definitely older than her. Rest Ingredients she was in rush or didn’t care.

For second burrito requested guacamole and she didn’t even put it. Assuming she wasn’t having a good day, I didn’t bother her again and simply took our food.

My 10 year kid also noted all this. Later at home, my wife complained about upset stomach in evening. No one in my house is willing to try again. But to me it was ok food but definitely not as good...
